Lyra sat on a wooden chair near the dining table, a cup of warm tea in her hand. Enri sat beside her, chin resting in her palm, eyes sparkling as she looked at her sister. Pierre sat across from them, calm as always, while Virginia sat sideways in her chair, appearing relaxed but clearly watching everyone's reactions in the room.
"So…" Enri began, her voice full of curiosity. "You said you wanted to tell us about your mission in the Clementine Mountains."
Lyra smiled. "Yes, and this time I won't leave out the details," she said, glancing briefly at Pierre and Virginia.
Virginia arched her thin eyebrow, then gave a faint smile. "I'm curious to hear your version of it."
"At first," Lyra began, "it was just like any other mission. I only had to deliver a report to the guard post at the foot of the mountain. But somehow I got dragged into a much bigger problem… something like—" she looked at Pierre, "—an inverted dimension that suddenly appeared."
