Chapter 5 Kyoto
I know I haven't made a chapter in four days since the last one. I'm sorry for that, but I don't really have a schedule. I think I won't make a chapter for Saturday and Sunday. I know I didn't put a chapter up on Friday, but that was my brother's birthday, so I didn't have time to make one. Anyways, let's get into it.
Issei and James played one game of chess. Issei lost. He played a second game and a third, continuing to play until the sun set. He played 20 games in total, and each time he got better. Afterward, he went home, took a shower, and had dinner. Miki smiled and told him, "Issei, dear, we will head to Kyoto next week." Issei looked up and smiled.
In this world, Kunou is the same age as Issei.
Now, we're doing a little time skip to next week when they are going to Kyoto. During this week, Issei trained his physical body. When he slept, he trained with Draig and Albion. He also had his fun with Miki. When he went for his run, he would play chess with James. After the week, he beat him. Now, I know what you're thinking: "How could he beat him?" Well, see, James was on the lowest difficulty. When Issei beat him, James turned it up and beat Issei no problem. Yes, Issei is going to go up and up in difficulty. He is on the second easiest difficulty.
So, Issei and Miki were on a train going to Kyoto. Issei planned to have fun with Miki but also wanted to introduce himself to Yasaka and try to make an alliance with her. At night, he walked out because Miki was asleep. He jumped from building to building and finally made it to Yasaka's residence. He saw a young girl about his age and was surprised because it was Kunou. This was surprising because, in the original timeline, Issei was in high school, and she was ten years old. But he didn't mind this change. So, he jumped down and looked at her.
"Hey there, why are you playing at night?" Issei asked.
Kunou jumped in surprise and backed away from Issei. "Who are you?" she asked, never seeing him before.
Issei patted her head, even though she was a little bit shorter than him, so he had to lift his hand to pet her head. "I'm here to see your mother," Issei said.
Kunou was surprised that this boy, who couldn't be older than her, grabbed her hand and took her to her mother's room. She opened the door and dragged Issei with her, but she didn't know her mother was in the shower and had just gotten out. She was in a towel when she saw them. She was surprised and dropped her towel. Issei couldn't help but stare at her nipples; his mouth started to water, wondering how they would feel in his mouth. Yasaka realized this and quickly grabbed her towel, wrapping it around her body. She blushed and yelled at them to get out. They ran out of the room, and after two minutes, Yasaka walked out of her room as if nothing had happened. She walked over to them and brought them to a meeting room.
Yasaka and Kunou sat across from Issei, and Yasaka looked him up and down. Finally, she asked, "Boy, what's your name?"
Issei smiled and bowed. "My name is Issei Hyoudou. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Yasaka."
When she heard this, she smiled, seeing how much respect this boy had for her at such a young age. "So, Issei Hyoudou-san, why are you here?" Yasaka asked.
Issei smiled a little bit. "Lady Yasaka, please just call me Issei," he said.
Yasaka nodded. "Only if you call me Yasaka. No more 'Lady Yasaka,'" she replied.
Issei nodded his head. "Okay, Yasaka."
After saying this, Yasaka let out a bigger smile. "Good. Now, my daughter said you wanted to meet me?"
Issei nodded. "Yes, indeed. I wished to speak with you, Yasaka, the leader of the West Youkai faction."
After hearing this, Yasaka became serious, and her nine tails came out. One of them wrapped around Kunou. Seeing this, Issei raised his arms. "I'm not here to hurt or fight with you, Yasaka."
Yasaka looked at him and asked, "Then why are you here?"
Issei smiled. "Because I want to ally myself with you."
After hearing this, Yasaka raised an eyebrow. "Why would you wish to do this, Issei?"
Issei smiled. "Well, not only are you very strong, but I also know you are close friends with Amaterasu."
Yasaka nodded her head. "Yes, I am. But why would I ally myself with you? What could you bring, and why would you need to ally with me?"
Issei's face went from a smile to a serious look. "If I tell you, can you promise me that you'll tell no one?"
Yasaka, seeing his face change, was a little surprised because when she was ready for a fight, he still had that playful smile on his face, meaning whatever he was about to say was very important. Yasaka put her hand on her chest over her heart. "I give you my word that I nor my daughter will tell anyone about what you are going to say."
Issei nodded his head. "Thanks. You know of Sacred Gears, right?"
Yasaka nodded her head. "Yes, those are the weapons the god of the Bible gave to humans to protect themselves from the supernatural world."
Issei nodded. "So, you know how powerful they can be?"
Yasaka nodded. "Yes, each Sacred Gear has its own use and could be very powerful in the right hands."
Issei looked into her eyes. "What if I told you that I had four Sacred Gears?"
Yasaka's eyes widened. "Well, I wouldn't know what to say. So, tell me, is that it?"
Issei nodded his head. "No, no. There is something even more impossible about me."
Yasaka laughed. "What is one of your Sacred Gears a Longinus?"
Issei nodded. "Kinda."
Yasaka looked at Issei. "What do you mean 'kinda'?"
Issei looked at her. "All four of them are Longinus Sacred Gears."
Yasaka, after hearing this, stopped and thought for a minute in complete silence. And after the minute was over, she yelled out, "Whhhaaattttttt!!!"
