A red sword zipped through the air, cutting the head of a bat-like beast. It had a large head and jagged teeth, making it look hideous and surprisingly terrifying.
Many beasts of the kind were being slaughtered all around, making Kent wonder if he had appeared in their nest. Of course, other beasts are attacking him too, but the hideous bats are numerous.
All of them are Peak Heavenly Ascension Stage Beasts, but as he continued to kill and absorb the blood essence, Kent noticed the difference in their strength.
However, that is not of concern to him. All he needed was to level up much faster.
To someone like him, every level he ascends makes a lot of difference, so he is killing with the intent of reaching the peak of the Heavenly Ascension Stage before he even starts the first phase of his mission.
Thankfully, the swords he created were doing more than he couldn't have done with his own two hands.
