Two months had already passed ever since Sabrina and her children moved from Texas. Their life had changed,they all had new friends,they adapted to the new environment and Victor and Nicole coped well with their studies. Sabrina was promoted at her job as the manager of a company, their life was going on perfectly.
About Nicole's relationship,it really bothered Liam,he was jealous that now he discovered that he had feelings for Nicole. Through the two of them being lab partners,project partners and always sitting together at class, brought them closer and the hatred became less,but Liam didn't know how he would approach her and tell her of his feelings,for he knew there might be a possibility she might hate him.
So one evening after school was over, Liam headed home alone and decided to take the bus because he didn't have his bike. As he was still at the bus station,it started raining,and he didn't have an umbrella. The next bus was to arrive about an hour. He decided he couldn't wait and walked home under the rain. It rained heavily and the cold became unbearable,his phone had shut down so there was no way he could communicate with anyone to pick him up. He finally arrived home after walking for about twenty minutes. He got into the compound and the gate automatically closed itself. He walked to the door and unlocked it. He was wet all over,water dripping from head to his shoes. It was already seven o'clock in the evening. Maya was at the kitchen,she headed to him when she heard the door closing.
" Oh my God! Liam where have you been, look you're all wet you're going to get sick!" She said.
" Mom I'm fine,I am just so tired,I need to get to my room." He said. His mood was still so low.
Their house help came to them and handed a towel to Maya.
Maya told him to remove the wet jacket so she could atleast dry his hair to avoid getting sick. Liam did as he was told. " Are you sad my dear?" She asked him. Liam just shock his head. " I am okay just a little drenched." He lied.
Maya then handed him the towel. " Go freshen up in your room, I'll send Anne to bring your dinner." She said. Liam then tried to carry his wet jacket,but Maya forbade him. Liam proceed upstairs.
" Anne take the wet clothes and wash them up in the machine,and when you take his dinner you will take the other wet ones." She said. Anne agreed and did as she was told.
Later Liam was seated at his study desk. He had showered,got into his pajamas and he had already eaten his dinner. He was checking up on the math notes that Nicole gave him. She has a bad handwriting,he thought to himself, then chuckled.
He then heard a knock on the door, after his permission,Maya got in. She had a glass of water and a couple of pills in her hand.
" Here take this." She told him. " So that you won't catch a cold my dear." She said.
He took the medicine." Thanks mom." He said.
Once he was done,she carried the glass.
" Don't forget to brush you teeth young man." She reminded him.
" Okay mom,I will once I'm done." He said.
" Good night I love you." She said.
" I love you too." He replied and then she left.
Later Liam was done with his studying,he arranged the books the way they were and then he headed to the bathroom to clean his teeth before he got to bed. When he got inside the sheets he snizzed,then felt a sharp pain in his throat. He just ignored it and proceed to turn off the lights and he covered himself,he listened to the rain dropping on the ceiling,until he finally fell asleep.
