Shou Ren rush home with his headache. Jin Yi told him that they have sex the whole night. He was desperately want to run from her. He stare at the mirror at home and regret what he did. How can he explain to Tong Li what had happen.
The following days he goes to work in a bad mood. Everything to him is wrong. He approves nothing and everyone avoid him as much as possible. His all black attire makes him look like the grim ripper from hell. Plus he did not laugh nor smile with anyone or anything. If he see or hear about An Jin Yi, his anger will flare up and his office will look like a mini hurricane just pass by. Occasionally when he receive text messages from Li Tong, he will cheer up. However he feels that he should be truthful to her and shouldn't lie about anything. The whole week he is in jitters.
Shou Ren's legs shake non stop in a restaurant. He is waiting for Li Tong. After such a long period of time apart, this is the first day they are meeting up. He see her walking in in her dress. Today she wears a turtle neck long sleeve mini dress. She smile sweetly and rush to him. She looks so beautiful that he got jelly legs and can't stand properly. Li Tong laugh at him for the weak legs. He goes on explaining in the end he gives up and eat dinner as plan. Li Tong talks as they eat dinner. While Shou Ren is not listening a word she is say but staring at how beautiful she is. Everything is going nicely when he received a text message. Upon reading it, he delete it and try to manage his anger in him. Li Tong feels there is an uneasiness in him. She figure out it might be due to work. So she talk non stop and smile for him. It somehow makes him happy to look at her eating. That night he send her back to the hostel. They stand outside the block holding hands. He did not want to move away from her. Eventually he did when her classmates are teasing her from their unit.
He went home in happiness. Her classmates said he is not that old as they imagine he should be. He is glad that he made an effort to take care of himself inside out. Reaching home taking the elevator, he enters his apartment but before he can close the door, someone push the door and attempt to get in. He with quick reflexes push the door back.
"Ren ger, it's me!"
"Let lost!"
"Please let me in. I was waiting for you the whole day!"
"I said get lost!!"
With all his might, he push and close the door. He hear a scream so he look through the camera that is fix on the door area. She had fallen and rubbing her ankle. She keep calling for him and wail that she hurt herself. He called the security to pick her. While he continue to watch with inside the camera. It takes the security to arrive. They moment they appear, she looks fine. She should them the card that she is living on the 19th floor. Shoun Ren watch them all enter the elevator. He switch off the screen and head to shower. Later the security called him to inform that the neighbour had made a mistake assuming it is her apartment.
That night he channel surf when he come across an interview with Jin Yi. She mentioned that she did not marry because she is engaged when she was a young girl. She said in the interview that they make a promise to marry when the time is right. She then added that she feel that the time is now. The interviewer asked who is the lucky man. She said that they are now living within the same apartment. He got angry again. That night he can't sleep after tossing and turning, he search for the video he recorded that Tong Li is playing her violin. The enchanting sound along with her beauty, puts him in a relax state of mind. He smile looking at her. She is his happiness and he cannot let her go. They will be together as plan.
Following weeks, he avoid Jin Yi as much as he can. He signed up a gym near his office. He order rides to where he needs to go. Sometimes he stay over at aunty Ling's place. He can chat with aunty Mei and aunty Ling into the night. They know about Jin Yi since they watch the Entertainment news on TV. They were disappointed to know she is back to disrupt his life. Thus they urge him to go tell Li Tong and go get a marriage certificate soon. He carefully consider their words. He decided to tell Li Tong the next meeting. He is determine that An Jin Yi shouldn't ruin his life again.
