The darkness that envelope Ren Vert, slowly dissappear as he slowly open his deep black eyes.
"Did I return back?"
Grabbing his phone, similar notification appeared in his phone. It was the upcoming heavy rain, that would appear at exactly 6 AM exactly early on the morning.
Looking at the time, Ren finally knew he had return back time. The time before the apocalypse began; at that heavy rain chaos appeared, people start biting and eating other as if they're a canibals.
And those people start to stand up bite other too, atleast 60% of people had been infected that time. The place where zombie appeared that time is the central park, at least 15% of the zombie in the city should be there.
So simply, the central park became one of the dangerous place that was crowded by tens of thousand of zombies. A few days after, the news that a zombie apocalypse happened not only at their country but globally.
After Ren experience the apocalypse, so he knew how an ordinary people would feel at this early phase of the apocalypse. The human was caught off-guard, which is also the reason at least 60% was infected and eaten by the virus.
The government was abit slow sending the military, which also the reason even more human was infected. The police couldn't hold on which cause the prisoner to escape, and became another problem for the military.
Many was raped, killed and eaten because of them. In late phase, The prisoner and criminal form a huge organization that turn in to power capable of fighting the military in this apocalypse.
Having no choice, every country and military united. And forming a united country, but the zombie still rule supreme all over the world.
There's also small group that gather human all over and gathering resources, which is what Ren was part of before. Though, those human that don't work had to pay price. All of them must do something, or they can't it the entire day or even week, months even starve to death.
There's is still military camp, but living there is tough it was too crowd and the food was not enough.
Some other didn't like it and go outside to gather food, they goes into other city. Ren past group was gathering foods and unfortunately past a horde of zombie and a zombie king, which cause his demise at the hand of the zombie king.
He didn't know what happened, and why is he back in the past. Perhaps being reborn is a gift and dream come true, but living through that hell. Ren felt like cursing the person that send him back time at this moment, He suffered alot already. Now he had to watch the nightmare of humanity once again occurred.
Spreading rumors that the apocalypse is a big no, He was just ordinary guy after all. It will do no good, all he could do at this moment is to live. Gather everything he need, and can't just watch as the apocalypse arrived now he know about can he?
He only had 1 day to do all thing he needed to do, Ren was also thankful that he saved quite alot of money to open a business after saving enough. Ren tried to find his wallet, After a minute of finding he finally saw it; opening it up he pick up all of his cash and the debit card.
During the apocalypse, He had join a group. It was a group that was gathering resource and set a base in an abandoned building, It was also name after their leader of the group with is 2 level above him.
He slowly rise on the group and finally reaching the rank of platoon leader, he had his own platoon. This group had a total of 13 platoon group that gather resources, All the leader was at his level or even a level above.
Ren pick up his phone that was charging on the side and enter the password, A click sounded as the phone was unlocked.
"Thankfully, I still remember password"
Tapping the call app, Ren hesistate for a second and finally gather his resolve and enter a number that he had not call for a very long time.
Then he dialled it, "Hello?" A soft feminine voice came on the phone. "Hey, Selena.." A nostalgic feeling strike him "Brother? Why are you calling me?" It was his sister, Selena Vert. He still remember her angelic voice and cute face, she was far mature and different now than the frame on the table on his room; He still recall when he was too late to save her that day, he blame himself many times for her death.
"Go buy a ration of foods, stock as many as you could; Buy canned goods, water, vinegar, salt and oil. Oh also buy some noodles, I would send you some cash." Ren said seriously at the other side of the phone.
"Hey Brother, Are you sick? Why would you ask me to buy those?" She asked with a worried and incredulous voice, If it was other people; She would said Crazy your sick then hang up immediately, But this is his brother and the serious tone on his voice is evident.
"I will send money on your bank, go and buy it immediately. And stay at home tomorrow morning, Never leave and let anyone go inside of the house. And you should tell mom and dad about it too." Ren also would never told her something so crazy, But Ren at the moment anxiously telling her thing she need to do.
If Ren told he that the apocalypse is coming, she would straight hang up the phone. And tell their parent he had gons crazy.
"I really can't understand, but i do it. I will go buy foods now, send the money immediately. I don't have that much cash"
"I send it right now immediately"
Just the tone on Ren voice, She knew he was not joking around. Ren once again repeat and finally hang the phone.
Ren rushed out of the door, and go to the market as fast as he could. He was too focus that, he can't hear the person calling him.
"Hey man, Where are you going? On a date or something." the man then chuckle
"Sorry, I had something to do." after saying those word, he ignore the man. "Hey Ren, Why are you in such a hurry man." Turning around, he finally recognize the person talking to him.
Brian Loin, He was his neighbor next door. He was one of the peson that was infected, at his last moment his knock at my door. But I was hella scared to do anything and I didn't do anything that time.
"Oh, It was you Brian. Sorry, But I had really something to do. But you should suppy foods at your apartment, I heard there might be a heavy rain coming"
After saying those words, He no longer stay much longer and goes in parking lot. Right infront of him stood an used old Alfa Romeo GTV-6, It was also the car he used and save him from the beginning of the apocalypse.
