The sky darkens over the heads of the soldiers, everyone except those by the constructs look up. What they saw, baffled them. A huge portal is opened before them, a giant insect limb comes out of the portal followed by 3 others. *SKREEEEEEEEE* Dr. Isadora did go overboard with the fortress personality.
A giant spider slowly appears from the portal, then it drops down towards the enemy in the back *BOOOOOOM!!!*. Luckily, the enemy commanders were in the center or they would've been crushed. 1,000s of people are crushed and blown away by the force the fortress came down with.
A female mechanical voice comes from the giant fortress, "Fortress Offense Class, Arachnid, initiating." *WHOOOO!* the giant fortress hums to life.
An enemy soldier points at the giant spider monster, "W…W…W….What is this?!"
Another soldier screams, "I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS?!" he turns to run and notices the constructs coming closer.
A Noble on a horse trying to flee, "OUT OF MY WAY!" and he goes trying to escape.
The priest leader of the healers' stares at the giant beast, "How...How….How can such a monstrosity exist?"
A general run over to the king and prince, "Your majesties, you must leave this instant. There's no way we can face that without the gods helping us."
A Platinum adventurer looks at the giant monster, "There's no way I'm fighting this." He makes a teleport magic circle and it shatters, "What?! How? Why? I can't cast any spells!" He looks at Arachnid and notices a light on its back, the light suppressed all spells in the area.
Arachnid lifts its forelimb and swings it down *BOOOOM!* cracks fill the earth and the people in the area are squashed or blown away. Arachnid shakes with black spheres coming from it, the black sphere spread across the area and starts firing elemental spells around. The butt opens and the Scorpion constructs starts falling out, on each Scorpion head is a gatling gun. The Scorpion dug into the ground the moment they land and move around appearing and disappearing on the battlefield.
A captain of the soldiers rallies the enemy, "Everyone listen! If we continue forward, we'll be ripped apart. Let's retreat and push through. We might be able to pass under the giant monster and escape before it catches us." What they said made sense except, Arachnid is made to fight Calamities. So, speed is one thing it cannot lack.
The soldiers rally and start running towards Arachnid, Arachnid's eyes glows and it fires beams mowing 1,000s of them down. The soldiers keep running towards it, they reach below its head and notice there're no cannon or turret fire. The soldiers look relieved until what Arachnid did next.
Arachnid quickly moves its legs around stomping below it rapidly, like trying to step on that one cockroach who mocks you after every miss it. Screams fill the place then Arachnid jumps back over 600 meters behind the battlefield, dread fills the soldiers. Even if they managed to get past it, it can jump that far back.
The king of Falshurx is fleeing in the forest with snort on his face in tears, "I am the chosen king by the gods! I can't die like this!" the king rides his horse, "I have to call on the name of my god, lor-" He sees a light come out of his chest and turns to dust and shock fills his face.
Far far away, the god the king is about to pray to stops and turns around. "I revoke your right as my champion!" then he starts running away with his back being cold and wet from sweat, "I HAVE TO ESCAPE BEFORE THAT THING CATCHES ME!" He's running with a group of gods all fleeing for their lives.
Make no mistake, gods are indeed powerful. It's just that beings whose power is illogical are residing on the earth dwarfing the strength of the gods down to ants.
The king felt weaker because he lost the blessing of his god, his rank dropped from Champion to B rank. A priest in the midst of the battle falls to her knees, "Why? Why have you abandoned us?!" she lost Divine magic along with everyone present, "Please, save us!" she continues praying.
"Cease your prayer." A voice speaks, the priest opens her eyes and see Arachnid's head before her, "No god will see me and rescue you." Arachnid raised its giant hand and brought it down *BOOOM!* Arachnid jumps to another side of the battlefield, fire comes from its mouth and burns the forests and everything down.
An adventurer fleeing, "No way, no way, no way, NO WAY!" *THUUD!* Arachnid arrives before him, "AAARRRGGGGHH-" *BOOOOOM* Lightening starts running on Arachnid's legs, the lightening flies to all the black spheres firing spells over the field. A LIGHTENING NET is made and electrocutes the enemies into ash.
Despite everything, the current number of the enemy was now in 200,000. Arachnid roars *SKREEEEEE!* then it jumps into the sky, all the constructs stop and retreat. The people sigh in relief but the sight before them shocks them. Arachnid is standing in the sky before a figure, all the constructs also return to their respective controllers. The figure waves the hand and Arachnid moves far away from the battlefield and all the constructs vanish.
A soldier looks around in fear, "W….W…W…What is going on?" Everyone looks towards the figure in the sky, it's Minerva. They look at the cliff the Azurians were and see them sitting watching the battle from a screen that is being shown over the cities. But there's a barrier around the Azurians.
Minerva floats in the air looking at the battlefield around her, "It's about time I end this. I should gather them all." Minerva spreads her arms and orbs appear on her fingers, the orbs fires around the battlefield edges into the ground. Everyone is shocked at this sight.
Huge rock walls start rising from the edges of the battlefield, even the people who made it into the forest find the walls ahead of them. They reach the walls and see the walls forming a huge bowl with every one of them inside.
An Adamantine adventurer who came because of news of treasures looks at the rising walls in horror. "No way, right? It's impossible for a human to wield this much power." The walls rise high reaching 500 meters completely surrounding all the enemy soldiers. The radius of the walls are over 5 kilometers, there's no way anyone could have run that far even with skills. A female healer falls on her knees in tears, "No! I want to go home!"
Minerva raises her hand to the sky and a scene unlike anything ever recorded on earth unfolds. The sky turns fiery red with 5 suns appearing above the heads of everyone. Fear creeps into the hearts of the people, the king shouts across the battlefield. "WE SURRENDER!" He begs, "Please let's stop this! We surrender, we won't ever come back."
Minerva doesn't even look at him, she's looking at someone pray. The people assume she's listening, the king is about to speak and the person stops praying.
"Are you done praying?" Minerva speaks, "Well, here you go." Her words shock them and the temperature around them rises at unimaginable degrees. The 5 suns are falling into the big bowl. Minerva flies past the suns to the top of the bowl and covers it, she starts to sweat. "Even though I controlled my EP, it's still scattering. I should recover EP." She activates ENERGY GENERATION and recovers her EP.
The kingdoms watching the fight see with their own eyes, trees and land melting before their eyes. Continuous explosion occurs in the sealed bowl for 30 minutes straight, Minerva is not taking any chances. Outside the walls and shield, the land is red hot with the trees on fire despite the place being sealed.
The nations watched as not a single soldier was left. If not for the screen, no one would live to tell the tale. Silence filled the nations whose people were slaughtered and burned. They who were originally celebrating and bragging about their family in the war are silent with not a sound. Silence filled those kingdoms for the rest of the day.
The explosion finally ends and Minerva lifts the shield, a huge gust of steam spreads across the area and the heat can literally be seen. Minerva looks at the Azurians in the barrier, "Alright, it's time for us to head towards their cities. I don't know what we're to do for now, but we'll occupy for the time being." The Azurians nod and teleport out of the remains of the land.
Minerva looks at Arachnid, "Arachnid, water the place down." Arachnid starts walking towards the battlefield but now fires water around like a fire engine. Arachnid damps the fires around and tried to revitalize the land. Using continuous EP made Arachnid run out of energy but because it has 3 cores it didn't shut down. It waited to recover EP then continued to restore the land.
Minerva looks at the screens and whispers, "I'm coming for you." And the screen turns off. Minerva looks towards the capital of Falshurx, her eyes glows. ARMORED SHELL, red armor covers Minerva from her head to toe leaving her face. The armor looks heavier than Nytri's but doesn't have circuits around it only Nytri does since she absorbed the Sovereign Dragon scales and only Azurian able to absorb through her skin/Mist. FLIGHT MANIFESTATION, purple wings spread from Minerva's back. Unlike Nytri's wings which look like white crystals which can change colors, Minerva's wings are pure purple.
Minerva flaps her wings and flies at SONIC SPEED to Falshurx capital, she reaches the capital in a few flaps and breaks through the shield of the capital. Minerva looked back uncertain of what she hit, she notices the people looking up at her.
Minerva flaps her wings and a wave spreads across the entire city to announce her presence, "....." She squints her mouth looking up in thought, "How does this go again? I took lessons from King Construct, I should be able to find the right words." The people whisper in fear, they witnessed Minerva's strength when she faced the army. Powerful adventurers are ready but, really....
Minerva looks down at the city, "Falshurx and Allies, you declared an unjust war against Azuria and for that you must pay. We demand war compensations for our loss in the war."
Someone speaks up, "Your loss?! You killed all our peop-" Minerva raises her hand and strangles the person in the air but doesn't kill them. Minerva shrugs, "You wasted our time and resources to exterminate the bugs you sent our way, that is our loss and you must compensate us. Fail and we will strike back, and this time. Every man, woman and child will be eliminated." Her words strike fear in their hearts.
At this point, a boy who offered tribute to the gods cries out in tears, "MONSTER! Give me back my daddy!" and throws a rock but it doesn't reach her. An old man grabs the boys hand and bows to the ground with the boy, "Please forgive me grandson!" Minerva turns to look at the boy, the old man continues speaking, "He's just a chi-"
Minerva folds her hand into a fist and the boy bloats and explodes into a bloody mess. This terrifies the people, the adventurer wanted to fight but their leader stopped them since he clearly knew Minerva doesn't care about the people. Fighting her here will only cause more casualty.
Minerva speaks to the entire city, "You declared war on us ready to kill my people and burn my home! Don't you dare act the victim just because the tables have turned." Minerva spreads her hand and a screen appears before her with the King of Azuria's signature.
"For challenging Azuria again, this will be your punishment." Minerva read it, "Henceforth, citizens of this kingdom are hereby forbidden from crossing the borders. Refusal to comply will warrant extermination with extreme prejudice. For threatening our princess, you are hereby blacklisted on trading with Azuria. All our products will be removed from your lands immediately. 70% of your yearly budget will be sent to us since you clearly had no use for them but procured weapons with them."
The screen vanishes and Minerva looks at the city, "Consider this mercy from the Princess of Azuria. Under normal circumstances, we'd eliminate every single one of our enemies. That is how Azuria remained hidden for centuries, there were no survivors."
Minerva flaps her wings then looks back at the city, "If not for the princess' restriction on us, I'd leave no trace of civilization here." She flaps her wings and a shockwave blows over the entire city bringing everyone to the ground one way or another.

- Arachnid: a 450 meter fortress class construct, capable of facing level 600 monsters due to its high mobility and rapid fire cannons. This being one of the best fortress class constructs ever made by Azuria made it look like overkill sending it to fight the enemy. This is the only fortress class construct Azuria could mobilize quickly and can move without leading a trail of destructing behind it. It's capable of spatial movement which allows it to move in the air and not touch the ground for a few kilometers.
- Arachnid: During construction, some of Nytri's constructs were kidna-ahem, borrowed to make it allowing it to use Anti-Energy to eliminate or freeze energy around it.
- The rod on Arachnid is to suppress energy to numb the senses of monsters around it. Used against humans, they can't cast any spells since the light forces energy to stagnate and not flow to make the spell. Just for the record, most Azurian can do this with Energy Manipulation skill or the advanced form.
- Black Spheres: The spheres from Arachnid are actually eggs, when enough damage is taken, the shell falls off and 1 meter construct bees appear from it. The bees are capable of fighting and casting spells but they do not do physical combat as eggs. This is to let the enemy guard down. The shedding of the shells can be delayed by letting the spheres play dead to slip by the enemy.
- Sonic Speed: A movement skill Minerva can still use even after becoming a Calamity. She retained maybe because her AGILITY is low.
- As for Minerva not holding back against a child believe it or not. Minerva is not even 8 years old yet. She was born when Nytri was around 9 years as a Variant Monster, so she's probably 5 years, give or take.
