Charlotte was prepared to leave.
Hannah was already waiting for her.
As long as she had the antidote, Charlotte was convinced that Hannah would not be reckless.
As she was exiting the hospital, Charlotte heard a calm voice from behind her. "I will come with you."
Charlotte turned around and saw Phoenix.
Charlotte said, "Did you eavesdrop on my conversation with Cynthia?"
"I did not eavesdrop," Phoenix highlighted.
Charlotte was rendered speechless.
After a moment, Charlotte muttered, "You cannot come. It is too dangerous."
"It is even more unsafe for you to go alone." Phoenix continued, "You will need someone to support you, else I am sure you cannot handle the situation with that IQ of yours."
Charlotte knew he made sense, but she was unwilling to let him bear the risk.
"It is a done deal." Phoenix uttered, "No matter what you say, I am coming with you. It is pointless to argue."
Charlotte did not know what to say.
Phoenix whistled without a warning.
