Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog were just about to greet John Brown when a woman suddenly appeared. However, both of them had no impression of this woman. With all the social gatherings they attend throughout the year, aside from a few important figures, they generally forget the 'table-hoppers' afterwards. Moreover, Lisa Smith was merely a minor civil servant, adding another layer of unmemorable.
Despite this, as hosts, even when confronted with fans, Alice and Laura wouldn't put on airs. When Lisa introduced herself and mentioned having eaten together before, out of politeness, they naturally couldn't ignore her. They promptly greeted Lisa with courtesy, and Alice said, "Oh, it's you! Such a coincidence to see you here again."
Lisa was really worried they wouldn't remember her, but when she saw they recognized her, she felt quite pleased. Her eyes quickly scanned the rest of the table and she said to Alice and Laura, "Come, come, sit here."
