Liora raised her hand.
A faint portal opened under the fallen Brutaurus.
Its body began to sink slowly into the portal.
Fiona watched with wide eyes.
"Wait, wait—what are you doing?"
She hovered down, landing just a few meters away from Liora.
"Did you already make a contract with it?"
Liora shook her head.
"No."
"I just sent it into Luxoria Castle's special subsystem."
Fiona blinked.
"Subsystem?"
"You mean storage?"
Liora nodded once.
"Exactly. It's stored—nothing more."
"Not bonded. Not mine."
Fiona's mouth opened a little.
"But… you beat it."
"You tamed it, didn't you?"
Liora smirked faintly.
"I defeated it."
"But I didn't tame it. There's a difference."
Fiona pointed to the ground where the beast had vanished.
"So… what? You just… filed it away?"
"Like it's a spare sword or something?"
Liora shrugged casually.
"Same thing I did with Inferon."
