"Are you ready lisa?" Mother asks while entering the room "Yes mother". She looked at me up and down then said "You look pretty". I smiled at her comment and replied with thanks.
This is the first time she complimented me I feel overwhelmed. "But your hair, sit down," she orders while pointing to the bed. I sat on the bed while my back was facing her. She opened my hair that are tied in a bun.
My long blond hair fell on my shoulder. She brushes my hair and sets them, after finishing her work she said "Done," and handed me a mirror. I look at my hair which is tied in a loose braid from the front and is open from the back that is in soft curls.
I smiled and said, "Thank you, mother". She smiled and helped me to stand up "I want to talk to you, about something lisa if you don't mind ". "What is it, Mother?" I replied politely. "Lisa what happened yesterday in Aloy's room don't tell anyone not even your father".
I was stunned but then smiled politely. What i was even thinking? her sympathy is not for me, she only has one daughter in her mind and that is Aloy Lector? I was just a part of their family in front of the whole world but not in close doors. "don't worry Mother". She smiled and hugged me. "Thank you, Lisa, I know you are not our blood daughter but I know you always think better for us," she said and broke the hug.
What she said made my heart shatter and I tried my best to keep my smile but I can't. when she left the room my smile turn into sadness again.

We walk downstairs when Aloy approached me. "You look pretty little sister," she said while smiling and it's the first time she didn't make a fuss about my looks. She always make huge fuss and throw tantrums whenever i get ready to attend an event. I still don't know why she do that.
I still remember on her 18th birthday she blame me for spoiling her birthday. Our father got in an accident and we didn't celebrate her birthday that year like we always do so Mom just invite some of her close friends. And she blame me for that and that's why she tore the dress I was going to wear. I still feel hurt whenever i remember that incident becuse that dress was the first gift i got from Albedo for my 17th birthday.
I sighed while remembering the worst nightmare of my life. At that time she hates me to death but now when I look at her face, I can see how much happy she looks, but how broken she is from inside. She is trying her best to make herself look happy in front of everyone. And I can sense that she was trying to change but for how long I don't know. But I can give her one more chance becuse she needs me. No one was with her except me so I didn't waste my time and hugged her.
"It's okay sis" I whispered making her hug me back. I caressed her back to comfort her. We broke the hug and I smiled at her "Let's go, ladies, the carriage is ready" Dad spoke while smiling at both of us. We smiled in return and followed him outside where two different colors but the same design carriage were standing.
Aloy held Lisa's hand tightly when the carriage started moving toward thier destination "Nervous," Lisa asked and she nodded in return. "Lisa, I am sorry" Aloy spoke, making Lisa look at her weirdly "Why sis?" she spoke shockingly.
Aloy smiled at her and then said "I did many bad things to you. I always make you suffer and you always just listen to my tantrums, but you didn't argue with me. You always treat me as your older sister, but I didn't become your older sister like I have to. But now I want to apologize for my bad deeds".
Lisa smiled sadly and said, "It's okay sis, you don't have to apologize because of past what you said or did were not wrong at all you always remind me of my place in that house". "It's not true Lisa I was just jealous of you" Aloy replied with concern.
She smiled after looking at her sister's concerned face and for the first time she was happy that maybe God was not that cruel." just forget that because what matters right now is this special occasion. I am happy that God give me a sister like you that love me and I don't need anything else" she said while smiling sincerely.
A tear dropped from Aloy's eyes when she hear Lisa's sweet words "It's your big day Sis don't cry or mom will kill us you are ruining your makeup" She laughed with tears full of eyes and hugged her tightly. "Thank you lily" she whispered and Lisa smiled widely.

A white carriage with golden railings enters through the palace gate and stops in front of the big entrance that leads to the palace ballroom. Aloy walks out of the carriage with Lisa.
They were about to enter the ballroom. "Sis you go, I think I drop my earings in the carriage"." I will come with you" Aloy insists but lisa declined while saying "Sis it's your engagement and you need to be there I will join you soon now go".Aloy sighed in defeat then nodded "Okay but don't make me wait" she ordered making lisa stunned but then giggle at her sister's cute reaction. Lisa smiled then nodded and walked toward the carriage. Aloy smiled and then followed the duke and duchess into the palace ballroom.
When Lector's family enters the ballroom, everyone stops talking. They look at Prince Julius who approaches his fiancee with Queen. "May I" Prince Julius offered his hand to Aloy. Aloy smiles shyly and accepts his hand, then they walk in front of everyone.
Lisa ran back toward the ballroom and was about to enter when a guard stopped her and said "Who are you miss?". She was stunned for a second because everyone who saw her started gossiping about her identity. But she calmed herself and replied boldly, making the guard stunned. "I am Lisa Lector Duke Lector Younger Daughter". "I am sorry my lady," Guard said panicked while giving her way.
At that time, a young man in his twenties was wearing a white tunic that was tucked into his blue trousers. Over his white tunic, he was wearing a blue coat the same as his blue trouser but embroidered from the front, watching her like a predator while smirking widely.
He entered the ballroom with his five companions and the palace guard bowed to him. He was soon crowded with other noblemen and some noble young ladies that were there for gossip and some wanted his attention.

Lisa enters the ballroom and got mesmerized by the beautiful surroundings. The ballroom is decorated with different colored gladiolus flower bulbs that are hanging on the roof. She smiled when she saw different types of flowers. Lisa loves flowers from her childhood that's why Lector's residence is full of different types of flowers planted by lisa.
She was admiring the view while standing at the center of the ballroom looking like an angel. Everyone's attention diverted toward her dazzling beauty. She was wearing a blue off-shoulder gown and her open long blond hair that is curled made her look like a goddess. Even the man who followed her inside was mesmerized by her beauty. She looks the most beautiful lady in whole party.

She was finding Aloy or her father because other than them, she didn't know anyone in that ball. A woman of the same age as lisa with blond hair and chubby chicks while wearing a pink strapless sweetheart backless organza ball gown, approached her and said "Hi".
Lisa was stunned by the sudden greeting but greeted her back politely with a "hello". "I am sorry for making you shocked..." Lisa looked at her confusingly and the woman laughed awkwardly, then said, " Sorry I should introduce myself first. I am Princes Roseanne from Kingdom Estonia. Are you alone? What's your name? ".
Lisa bowed then spoke hurriedly "I am sorry your grace I didn't know you personally....sorry... I mean by face, please forgive me". Rose giggled at her cute reaction and said "It's okay by the way what's your name" Rose smiled at her. Lisa hesitantly looked at her then spoke shyly "Your grace I am Lisa Lector Duke Lector's younger daughter".
"Ooh, that's wonderful now you are my friend, so stop calling me 'your grace' Call me Rose because my friends always call me that," she said warningly then smile at her. Lisa laughed awkwardly and said, "Okay Rose".
Two young women in their twenties elegantly walk through the crowd while making everyone gulp with respect and bow to them.
The one with brunette hair and cat eyes was wearing a maroon off-shoulder elegant a-line gown that make her look hot yet beautiful. While others with black hair and heart-shaped lips were wearing lavender color spaghetti strap beading bodice tulle ball gowns that make them look like a goddess.
"Rose what are you doing here, we were finding you everywhere" the black-haired girl spoke then looked at Lisa then asked Rose "Who is she?". Lisa looked at them awkwardly when Rose introduced her. "Meet Lisa, she is Duke Lectors' daughter and Aloy's younger sister," Rose said while smiling widely. Then turned toward Lisa, who was looking at the two women and trying to guess their identity.
"Lisa, they are my friends, more like my older sisters Princess Julia Nova and Princes Jane Nova" Lisa widen her eyes then bowed to them hurriedly and said, "I am sorry, my apology, your highness I didn't know you by face". They smiled at her reaction, then Julia spoke "It's okay lisa".
"We are here to call Rose because the ceremony is going to begin soon now you can also join us" Jane spoke politely. Lisa's eyes widen and she hurriedly denied "your highness, it's okay you can go".Lisa don't be dumb let's go you are joining us and that's final" Rose said and puff her breath out making lisa giggle at her cute reaction. She sighed in defeat then nodded and started following them.

The rings were exchanged by Prince Julius and Aloy. Everyone starts cheering for them, then the king and queen approach them. They give their wishes to the new couple and announce the wedding date.
Everyone was happy for the new couple and enjoying the ball. But Aloys' eyes were finding one specific person, but she didn't see him. She was now caged in this relationship and she can't see any escape. Her heart dropped after thinking about her future she want to cry but she calm herself. She came to her senses when a cold manly voice reaches her ear but his words breaks her heart "You are going to marry before me, little brother" he said blankly to Prince Julius and smirked.
She likes him so much that she wants to tell him, but she can't. She fights with her tears that are about to fall. When he congratulated her, she fakes smiles in return. She feel sad but she replied with thank you. She was stunned when Prince Julius put a hand on her waist. She wanted to remove that hand but stopped her urge when Prince Julius spoke: "Get yourself a girl brother you are getting old". she sighed in defeat. She saw how jake smirked and whispered something in Julius' ear. Maybe she was not made for him that's how she try to forget him.
From her 15th birthday, she was known as Aldovia town beauty and that's why she has a lot of suitors. She still remembers when she first saw him at a ball she was 16. Every man was trying to get her attention but she didn't like any of them. Then her eyes caught someone who was standing in the corner of the ballroom wearing a black coat and black trousers under his black coat a white tunic shirt was tucked in his trouser.
He looks elegant yet stunning, she smiles while remembering how she approached him but he didn't even answer or look at her, and that hurt her. On that day she marks him as her and vowed to herself that she will make him hers.
After that day she tried to convince her mother, to marry Prince Jake but her mother denied it because he was an illegitimate child and even if he become crown prince he can't get the throne. She hates her mother for thinking like that but her mother told her another thing that still repeats in her head.
"A marriage without love is the future of every young lady and a young lady can only save her married life by getting power and wealth". She despised her mother's words, but deep down she believed in her words that's why she is standing here with another man. She bitterly smiles at herself while remembering. On that day she didn't know what the future hold for her she looks at Prince Julius her future with a bitter smile.
Lisa was next to congratulate her sister when she approached her she didn't notice Prince Jake who was glaring at his brother for laughing while teasing him for being single. Lisa approached her sister who was dazed and hugged her making her stunned."You did great sis" she whispered and Aloy hug her back tightly.
Jake and Julius look at both of them while they broke the hug. Jake look at lisa and smirked then clear his throat to get her attention. Lisa turned toward him and got stunned he was looking at her deeply while she was looking at him back with her brown big doe eyes." I will take my leave now" jake said while breaking their gazes. Lisa looked at him leaving and put her hand on her heart which was beating crazily. She breathed out and turned toward Prince Julius.
"Please take care of my sister your highness," lisa said after bowing to Prince Julius. He look at Aloy who was staring at lisa and said: "I will". Aloy was stunned by the prince's sudden remark and turned toward the prince hurriedly who was staring deeply at her. She didn't say anything and turned toward lisa again. Lisa smiled at the couple one last time and walk away.

The night was going on, everyone was dancing and enjoying the ball. one side of the ballroom, sitting elite knights enjoying the night with a glass of wine. "That girl is really pretty, "Lord Finral said while sipping his red wine. "Who," Jay asks while trying to find the girl.
"That blond girl with a blue dress" he replied and took another sip of his wine.
Jake stood up abruptly, making everyone confused. Lord Jay spoke while looking at him weirdly "What happen?" He didn't reply and started walking.
Elvin who was looking for his girl while holding two glasses of drinks saw Jake and started walking toward him. But when he was close to him, jake walks past him. He stood there like a statue for a minute but when he look at Finral and Jay's reaction he came back to his senses. He turned in Jake's direction and his eyes got wide in shock.
Jake was standing confidently in front of a beautiful young lady. He offered his hand to the young lady and said elegantly "Do you want to dance with me, my lady?"
