After a while, I decided to go to the temple to bathe. When I went to collect a towel and a change of clothes, I found Suzan and Charlotte having a conversation.
"Are you sure you're not choosing to be embarrassed about it?" Charlotte asked. "King Titus said he liked it. I don't see any problems."
"My father told King Titus about all of the things from my past I would prefer to forget. I know so little about King Titus." Suzan said. "I can't help feeling that I have lost something and I am now at a disadvantage in the relationship."
"I understand. Have you asked King Titus about his past?"
"Yes, one time, but he wouldn't give me any answers. He made a joke: he said he was born about forty days ago."
Charlotte giggled softly.
"Huh? Are you sure that was a joke?" I asked.
Suzan and Charlotte paused for a moment.
"How could it be true?" Suzan asked.
We all paused to consider it. I could not think of an answer, and apparently, neither could they.
