In the headmaster's office in the council building, Francis heard a knock on the door.
"Enter!" he raised his voice so it could be heard outside the door.
The door opened and Michelle stepped inside.
"Headmaster... I was told Master called me to come here," she bowed her head slightly in greeting.
Francis nodded.
"Did you rest well?" he asked.
"Yes, headmaster," Michelle answered calmly.
"It has been quite a while since I slept this good." That was actually true.
She wasn't even aware of it at first, but she realized it when she thought about it; she ended up naturally falling asleep on Alexander's lap and slept comfortably through the whole night.
And Alexander's presence probably helped with that.
"That's good..." Francis didn't know what was going through Michelle's head.
He just thought that after returning to a somewhat familiar place, she was able to sleep peacefully.
