Back at the battle site;
Naruto, with difficulty, was able to make his hands meet each other in front of him in a cross-hand seal. With the unique hand seal formed, Naruto releases a massive amount of chakra, along with some of Kurumi's chakra, into the jutsu he is forming.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique)
A big burst of smoke appeared, and out of it, eight shadow clones appeared who looked as disheveled as Naruto is, but didn't feel the pain or look labored. They looked injured and bloody like Naruto, but they didn't feel it and looked fine, as they are chakra constructs.
The clones rushed towards Naruto as soon as they appeared and lay him on his back on the sand as they knelt around him.
"Get the medical kit," clone one told the other as it unzipped Naruto's vest.
The sound of tearing could be heard as the clones tore open the bloody part of Naruto's undershirt and pants, exposing the wounds fully for the first time.
"Sweet kami." Clone two muttered
"They look as if Prime was stabbed, even though the spear never touched him once." Clone three said
"Don't you guys think this looks awfully similar to the rumors about curses and magic dolls?" clone four asked
"You mean voodoo dolls?" clone five asked
"Yeah, this is actually similar to that doll's description. The user takes a part of the target and attaches it to the doll; anything done to the doll will happen to the target." Clone four said
"Except the doll is a living blood-licking maniac doing it to himself with some sort of ritual." Clone five said
"Enough, you two. Prime is still bleeding here, and you are having a discussion." Clone six said
"Here, take these," Clone seven said as it had unsealed a large medical kit from one of the storage seals stored in Naruto's blood-sodden vest, before opening it and presenting it to the six clones working on Naruto's wounds.
"Start taking care of the foreign chakra in his wounds." Clone three said
"We need to lay prime on his side. I need to see the wound on his back." Clone one said that the clones helped it do while sealing away Naruto's jonin vest and Katana to be able to fully tear away the undershirt so that his upper body is naked to fully see the wound on his front and back.
"We can't stay here." Clone two said
"Prime, prime, stay with me. Don't go to sleep on me now. If you go unconscious, we all dispel, you know that." Clone eight said as he sat on the ground with Naruto's head on his lap, keeping Naruto from going unconscious from pain and loss of blood by talking to him and patting his face.
After clone seven gave the six clones the medical supplies, it stained its right hand with some of Naruto's blood before starting to weave hand signs, before slamming its hand on the ground and pouring its entire chakra into the jutsu, which made it dispel as kanji appeared on the ground like a web.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)
A large cloud of smoke appeared, out of it came Katsuyu, who was double the size of a horse.
"Hel... what happened, Naruto-kun? Are you ok?" Katsuyu was about to greet Naruto, only to be shocked and worried by the scene in front of her.
"Katsuyu, I'm sorry, but no time for explanation right now. We need your assistance to extract some foreign chakra plaguing Prime's body. And please reverse summon up to the Shikkotsu Forest before sending us to Shizune-nee-san. Also, please destroy any blood that remains after you reverse-summon us to the forest." Clone one said, to which Katsuyu silently nodded before five small Katsuyus separated from the large body that disappeared a moment later. Four Katsuyus, about the size of a small cat each, crawled up Naruto's body and situated themselves near Naruto's wound to help the clones, while the last Katsuyu, about the size of a large dog, stayed still as if waiting for something.
A couple of moments later, Naruto, along with the clones and the smaller Katsuyus, disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving the larger Katsuyu behind, who started to spit Acid on every drop of blood where Naruto had lain. The blood was contained in this spot as the rest was soaked into Naruto's clothing during the end of his fight.
With all the blood destroyed, Katsuyu looked around for a final time before disappearing in a puff of smoke, leaving a massive stretch of desolate desert, still experiencing a sand storm, that had witnessed a deadly battle with a massive crater a few kilometers nearby.
Destroying the blood was something that Shinobi needed to do as they had to erase any of their traces anywhere they went, especially something as significant as their blood. This is reinforced more in the Anbu, as blood contains an incredible amount of information that a shinobi wouldn't want anyone to have.
A few moments later, Shizune's office in Konoha's hospital;
Shizune sat behind her desk, looking through and arranging multiple files on her desk, when she was interrupted by a puff of smoke appearing near her.
"Katsuyu-sama?!" Shizune exclaimed, surprised to see Katsuyu. Katsuyu was the size of a large cat. She looked around for a moment before looking at Shizune
"Not the time, Shizune-chan, please lend a hand," Katuyu said with urgency as she disappeared in a huge puff of smoke too large for her size.
"Lend a hand in what?" Shizune asked only to go completely still after seeing what came out of the smoke.
Out of the cloud of smoke, Naruto, along with the clones and the smaller Katsuyus, appeared.
Shizune was speechless and worried seeing the state of Naruto's clones, but that soon turned to shocking horror as her hands clamped on her mouth as she couldn't believe who the clones were working on.
"Nee-san, a gurney, please." Clone one said with urgency.
"Prime, we are home. Stay strong and stay awake," clone eight said reassuringly to Naruto.
"Nee-san. The gurney." Clone one called again, but Shizune was frozen with tears streaming down her face, looking at Naruto.
"You get it." Clone one said to clone six, who nodded and then rushed out of the office.
"SHIZUNE," Clone one shouted, making Shizune finally come out of her trance.
The clone didn't blame Shizune, as he knew that even medical professionals would freeze at the sight of someone they held close or loved in such a state.
"Sorry, sorry." Shizune finally moved, wiping her tears and moving to take a closer look at Naruto.
"Should we inform Tsunade-sama?" Shizune asked as she helped the clones put Naruto on the gurney that clone six had just pushed into the office.
"NO." Came the collective reply from the clones
"Kaa-san can't see Prime like this." Clone one said as they all, along with Shizune, pushed Naruto out of the office and towards the main Operating room, shocking the hospital staff and a few remaining patients.
"Where is she?" Clone two asked, hoping that Tsunade was busy or wasn't in the hospital.
"She left to go home. Her work ended early, and I was going to catch up to her soon." Shizune informed the clones as they pushed Naruto into the OR.
"No one deliberately informs her until Prime is stable and recovering. This will be too much for Kaa-san to see right now." Clone one said as he and the other clones put Naruto on the operating table and started working on him with the help of Shizune and the nurses that rushed to help, especially after seeing who was wounded.
