The first thing Lynn noticed when she opened her eyes was the white ceiling in their room. She was completely drenched in sweat and thirsty. She swallowed and got up in a sitting position. She wanted to pour herself a glass of water. But the jug of water wasn't there like it had been before she went to sleep; it was gone. She let out a deep sigh and got out of bed
She had a bit of a headache. Alex was still fast asleep and she didn't want to disturb him. Lynn was about to head towards the door, when she noticed something in the corner of her eye. She turned, and her heart fell to her stomach.
