Alex made sure that Lynn didn't suspect that anything was going on. He was able to maintain a conversation with her and still watch the car that had been on their trail for the past twenty minutes. Alex had memorised the license number of the car, which he wasn't sure would be of help. If they were truly being followed, the person would be careful enough not to make the mistake of using their own too.
