Kael's frown deepened.
Before he said or did anything, he swiped his hands, sending the golden screen away from his face.
Purple electricity flashed around him as Ruda zoomed over. She stopped beside him, commanding her lightning arcs to die down.
"Kael, Your Majesty…" She started, taking on a seductive tone.
Her short spiky pink hair flared in front of Kael, obstructing his vision.
Kael raised his hand in front of her face, stopping her from completing her sentence.
Ruda closed her mouth, confused. She had thought that Kael would not care about Uncle's death but it seemed like she was wrong.
Kael rubbed the bridge of his nose, not interested in clearing Ruda's misunderstanding. He didn't care about Uncle's death at all, he was just worried that things in heaven were heating up faster than he could prepare.
What did they mean Adolf was dead, that fast? Just like that?
