No one in the Duke's Mansion could detect Ludith's arrival.
Ludith carefully made his way into the Duke's room.
When he saw the skeleton with holes gnawed into it and recognized the clothes it wore, he confirmed that the Old Duke was truly dead.
Afterward, Ludith silently searched the room.
Soon, he found a secret passage. Unable to locate the mechanism, he broke through the door with a few sword strikes and entered.
Upon seeing the contents of the hidden passage, Ludith clenched his teeth.
Upon entry, he found the ground littered with skeletons, covering the path from the passage to the secret chamber.
The secret chamber too was covered with a layer of skeletons, along with a few fresher-looking skeletons.
These skeletons were the same, all without skulls, and judging by their size, were rather small.
These were all victims devoured by Duke Yuris over the years...
Besides these, there was also a monument, the Healing Brave Monument.
