Outside the Ghost Cave, an unsettling fear still gnawed at his heart.
It was the Divine Sovereign, truly the Divine Sovereign. Even the presence of a Dragon Corpse could fill him with dread. Though there were no rules to bind him, he dared not leave.
Bao Shi tried an attack, but found his efforts could not penetrate the defense of the True Dragon. Even the fleshy walls of its mouth remained unbreakable.
Immediately, Bao Shi turned back, and Sun Shi and the others quickly followed.
Soon, the group returned to the underground space.
"Master Bao Shi, what should we do now?" Sun Shi asked.
"It's just a Dragon Corpse, likely controlled by the Dragon Soul, unable to unleash its full strength."
"If it can eat, then let it eat to its heart's content," Bao Shi said, retrieving an object and tossing it into the vortex above.
The object transformed into a streak of light and vanished into the vortex.
