Chapter 448 - Evil Eye of the Monster Association

"It only took half a day to finish the renovations?"

In the underground headquarters of the Monster Association, a Black Sperm walked into the main hall and glanced at the grotesque figure seated in the dominant position.

It truly was a lump of a monster—this was the Monster Association's chief strategist, Evil Eye. Its entire body resembled an uncoordinated, morbidly obese otaku.

Moreover, Evil Eye's head lacked any facial features except for a single massive eye that stared at Black Sperm. Its muffled voice seemed to emanate from some unknown organ:

"Oh... Black Sperm. I used a little trick, so the renovations went faster."

From the moment Evil Eye took over the Underground Kingdom to its complete transformation into the Monster Association's base, only half a day had passed—an impressively short time.

But Black Sperm hadn't come just to marvel at the renovation speed. It fixed its gaze on Evil Eye and demanded:

"That's not important. What is important is—where are the clones I sent to clean up the Underground People? I haven't seen them since yesterday!"

The Black Sperm clones assigned to eliminate the Underground People had been erased by Zuke—wiped from existence via spatial deletion, leaving not a trace behind.

Since Black Sperm's clones lacked long-range communication, it had no idea where those missing units had gone. Thus, it could only turn to Evil Eye for answers.

"I already told you... I don't know where your clones went. When I took over this place, it was completely empty."

Evil Eye narrowed its enormous eye as it responded.

After completing the Monster Association's renovations, it had summoned all the monsters to occupy their assigned quarters.

Black Sperm, upon arrival, had immediately confronted Evil Eye with this question—and Evil Eye had answered truthfully. Yet, Black Sperm didn't seem convinced.

"Tch. Maybe you haven't even made a move on the Hero Association yet and are already trying to weaken me first?"

Black Sperm's distrust was palpable. Its alliance with the Monster Association was purely cooperative, so blind faith was out of the question.

Still, after grumbling, Black Sperm turned and left—it wasn't planning to sever ties with Evil Eye, just venting its displeasure.

Whether Evil Eye had secretly disposed of those clones or not, this little exchange served as a warning: Black Sperm wasn't so easily controlled.

"Such troublesome executives..."

Evil Eye watched Black Sperm exit the room, its massive body remaining motionless on the couch.

With the war against the Hero Association not yet officially declared, it had no intention of provoking a conflict with Black Sperm.

If Black Sperm wanted to complain, so be it—a few harsh words meant nothing. After all, the one being insulted was Evil Eye, not its true form.

That's right—this one-eyed, obese monstrosity wasn't the real body. It was merely a flesh puppet left on the surface.

Deep beneath the Monster Association's base, hidden in the earth's depths, lurked Evil Eye's true form—a woman who had once been human but now proclaimed herself a monster: Psykos.

"Just now, Ruin Insect reported that the Hero Association's higher-ups gathered at Tatsumaki's request... I wonder what they're discussing."

Evil Eye pondered.

One of the Monster Association's members, Ruin Insect, possessed the ability to parasitize others.

Currently, it had infested a low-ranking Hero Association employee, allowing it to monitor the executives' movements.

Unfortunately, its host's clearance was too low to access the details of their discussions.

"I'll have to order Ruin Insect to find a higher-ranking host—maybe even a senior executive or a top-tier hero."

As Evil Eye contemplated its next move, it slowly closed its gigantic eye.

But the moment it did—

BOOM!

A deafening explosion erupted from above, shaking the entire Monster Association as if a massive earthquake had struck.

"What's happening?!"

Evil Eye's eye snapped open in alarm, darting toward the ceiling—there had been no reports of seismic activity.

Its true form, Psykos, resided even deeper underground, equipped with specialized devices to detect tremors.

If an earthquake had occurred, Psykos should've sensed it immediately. There was no way Evil Eye would feel it first.

Yet before it could send someone to investigate, the source of the disturbance arrived right in front of it.

Under its widened gaze, the reinforced metal ceiling shattered violently, collapsing into a gaping hole.

And descending through the debris was—

Zuke.

He landed gracefully in front of Evil Eye, the crisp tap of his shoes against the floor echoing in the suddenly silent room.

It was almost impossible to believe that the same foot that had just obliterated the ceiling now touched down so lightly.

"Y-you...! Who the hell are you?!"

Evil Eye's pupil trembled as it stared at Zuke, who had descended like a wrathful god.

But before Zuke could answer, another figure drifted down through the hole in the ceiling.

Tatsumaki.

Unlike Zuke's direct landing, she hovered effortlessly with her psychic powers before settling beside him.

"Tatsumaki the Terror?!"

Though it didn't recognize Zuke, Evil Eye immediately identified Tatsumaki—and its mind raced to a realization as it whipped its gaze back to Zuke.

"You're the one who gathered the Hero Association's executives?!"

According to Ruin Insect's earlier report, Tatsumaki had brought a man with her when summoning the higher-ups.

At the time, Evil Eye had dismissed it, assuming he was just some staff member or a relative.

But now, it was clear—this man was the focal point. And Tatsumaki's submissive posture?

He had to be monstrously strong.

"So you already knew about me? Tch. The Hero Association's security is a joke."

Hearing Evil Eye's words, Zuke instantly deduced that news of his visit had leaked.

"Useless trash..."

Tatsumaki's expression darkened, equally disgusted by the Hero Association's incompetence.

As an S-Class hero, their failures reflected poorly on her.

With that thought, she glared at Evil Eye, her killing intent surging:

"Zuke. Can I just kill this thing now?"
