Inside a carriage, heading to Zarr, sat Gabrielle, Kenton, Lexster, and the servant women.
The carriage had plush dark brown seats that had arm rests and wrapped around the inside of the carriage stopping on either side of the door. The floors of the carriage were dark wood. There were windows on either side of the carriage walls that had heavy red curtains clipped off to the side in curtain holders. The walls of the carriage were plain in color and matched the texture of the seats. The ceiling was tall and had a chandelier that hung in the center of it.
The carriage ride was slightly bumpy, each bump shot pain throughout Gabrielle's body.
She gripped her pants leg, digging her nails into her leg, as she fought through the pain.
Kenton looked down at her hand, giving a soft sigh.
"You don't have to be strong," He fretted, grabbing her hand, "There's no sense in pretending as if nothing is bothering you."
