When Ama gives me my phone telling me Lucien is the one on the line, I nod getting ready to hear what he has to say.
Maybe, he has already found the person who leaked the kids' pictures, and mine too, and is probably working on ending them. That is something he can do.
"Hey Genevieve," he says and I can tell he sounds tired.
"Hi," I reply. "Is anything the matter?" I ask him slightly curious.
"No. I just called to tell you that I have found who leaked this information to the press. They have taken it down, but a lot of people have already seen it so there is only so much I can do." He tells him sounding very tired. He sighs. "I apologize for putting you and the kids through that," he tells me earnestly.
I shake my head as if he can see me, and I say, "Do not say that. This is your life, and it is inevitable. They are your kids. I know you not knowingly put them in harm so, you do not have to explain to me."
