Kiyoko Adachi is a geneticist from Tokyo who has received dozens of accolades despite her age. Yet, she had a dark side. She often would kidnap people and experiment on them. However, she would never kill them nor even hurt them, as all of her experiments were humane. The only reason she could do this and not get caught was because of her disguises. She has a quirk that grants her the ability to change the color of her skin, eyes, and hair. That, with some extra aesthetics, makes it impossible to identify. Yet, it wasn't long before the heroes were on her trail.
With the threat of justice looming, she quickly fled to the ghettos of Japan. It was horrible, nothing like the lavish city studio she had previously had. She was surrounded by the worst of the worst. However, there, she found a new opportunity, one that would grant her security and allow her to continue her studies unabated.
She was brought in to help an elderly doctor with his experiments. The doctor couldn't perfectly clone his master, as they would all have deformities. However, once she entered the picture, they were finally able to get it right.
This master was playing with the idea of an heir. Despite all his abilities, age was catching up to him, so he figured a younger, more abled body was in order. However, fornicating was out of the question. So, he turned to his closest ally for answers. Once he received news of its success, the only disappointment was the gender. He wanted a male, not a female. Yet, he didn't want to waste such precious work, so he decided to accept her.
That was until he found a new and far more suitable candidate. Once the announcement was made of his new appointment, the girl was quickly forgotten and locked away. It was decided that she would aid in the doctor's experiments that could later benefit the new heir.
And so the girl was put through hell in the name of science and quirk theory. Day in and day out, she'd be taken deep within the underground facility along with the other testing subjects taken from homeless shelters and orphanages all across Japan.
Kiyoko wasn't happy about this development but had no power to stop it. The only thing she could do was numb the pain.
She originally joined the doctor and his team out of her insatiable desire to push genetics further, even if her methods were… extreme. The only people who could see her visions for the future were the doctor and his team. She figured, at the very least, they were humane in their experiments, the same as her. But no. It was quite the opposite, and it horrified her. Yet she stayed, forcing her humanity down in the name of research. It worked… for a while at least. Once her latest creation came to fruition, she became overly attached.
This was noticed by the other staffers, and they used this, along with other things, to ensure she stayed in her place and knew to who her life now belonged. Trapped and with no other options, she resigned herself to servitude, continuing the inhumane experiments.
