Among these over three hundred Trainers' Flying-type Pokémon, numerous duplicates could be seen, including Staraptors, Pidgeots, Swallows, Scythers, and other common flying types favored by most Trainers.

This battle drew significant attention as it determined the pride of the Ellie Region and whether they could reclaim Oceanview Tower from the Dark Guild, ultimately aiming to eradicate this malignant force once and for all.
As the clash erupted, Lian also engaged with Genesect despite carrying Kalia on his back. However, dealing with this Genesect posed no issue for him.
The Genesect beneath its counterpart was immobilized and unable to attack, but having support allowed the opposing Genesect to unleash its full combat potential freely.
Excitement radiated from Genesect, its red eyes glowing intensely on its metallic head as it emitted peculiar cries towards Lian. Simultaneously, it charged at him, clearly preparing for close-quarters combat. Genesect is known for balancing both Special and Physical Attack capabilities evenly, each reaching base stat values of 120.

Despite covering its right forelimb with Normal-Type energy, the four-times weakness of Steel and Bug Types to Fire was overwhelming, resulting in direct burning damage to Genesect.
Although some harm was mitigated, during each exchange of moves, Genesect would continuously suffer wear and tear, while Lian remained unaffected, experiencing only slight discomfort.
In this melee, Lian once again gained the upper hand, completely dominating Genesect—an advantage that couldn't be offset by Genesect's higher level or greater power alone.
Attribute weaknesses among Pokemon are immutable facts; no Pokemon can ignore them, not even Kyogre is exempt from attribute-based vulnerabilities.
However, Kyogre's strength had reached such a formidable level that finding equally matched opponents was increasingly rare. If Groudon were to emerge and control the weather with Sunny Day, successfully unleashing Solar Beam,
even Kyogre would suffer severe damage, highlighting the power of type advantages—no legendary Pokémon could escape this vulnerability.
Typically, powerful Pokémon have ways to counter their natural predators, and Kyogre undoubtedly possesses such means, similar to high-level Trainers' Pokémon and those belonging to Elite Four members.
The battle continued as Lian pressed his offensive, not giving Genesect any breathing room, focusing on close combat.

Lian smiled, knowing the battle was underway. However, he didn't rush into the fray immediately but instead headed straight for the 99th floor, as Kalia needed to rescue hostages first.
Upon reaching the room on the 99th floor, Lian found chaos reigning; the Dark Guild members had already escaped. Initially drawn by the benefits offered by the Dark Guild, their departure became inevitable once they sensed its imminent downfall, prioritizing their escape over loyalty.
Over a dozen civilians were trapped here, and amidst the escalating battle, none of the three hundred mid-level trainers had come to their rescue, focusing solely on combating the Dark Guild.
Kalia jumped down and approached the captives, asking, "Who is Jean?"
"I-I am," responded a woman among the group. Seeing Kalia, she displayed relief and joy, clearly recognizing her as their rescuer. "Please untie us first."
Lian extended his claws, effortlessly slicing through the ropes without harming anyone.
After freeing the dozen or so civilians, they immediately expressed their gratitude to Kalia. Although the mid-level trainers cared for their safety, it was primarily due to regulations set by the Pokemon League.
"Jean, someone posted a mission to save you. You must leave quickly; it's too dangerous here. The battle has already begun," Kalia said.
"Alright." With their freedom restored, the group had no intention of staying longer. They swiftly headed towards the elevator, ready to depart Oceanview Tower.
