As they arrived at the gates of Amegakure, Naruto told Tetsuya that he sensed a FTG mark somewhere in the city.
Tetsuya immediately deduced that it was most likely the mark that the fourth hokage left on Obito back then.
He then asked Karin if she could sense Nagato by describing that his chakra should be that of an Uzumaki mixed with the sharingan's chakra.
After scanning, Karin locked onto a chakra similar to what Tetsuya described. And told him that there was another chakra near that person.
He concluded that it should be Konan so he asked Karin that if another chakra approached Nagato to immediately notify him.
He also told Kakashi to send one clone of Naruto to enter the Kamui space just in case. He also told Naruto to be prepared to teleport to the mark when he told him.
As they entered Amegakure, Karin immediately reminded them that the rain currently pouring has some special chakra in it.
As they went deeper in the city, Chikushodo Pain, accompanied by Konan's paper clone approached them and asked for the reason of their visit.
Jiraya was immediately overjoyed after seeing his old disciples and explained that they were here to negotiate terms of peace and convince them to stop collecting the Bijuu.
Nagato immediately refuted him by saying that he was a god and wasn't willing to negotiate with mortals.
Seeing Nagato's unwillingness, Tetsuya had no choice but to interject by saying" Don't be so quick to decline us, Mister Pain. I think it is in your best interest to listen to us."
Nagato and Konan immediately recognized the way Tetsuya spoke as the person who barged in their last meeting so they reluctantly accepted to converse for now.
They were then guided to a room by Konan. Naruto also hinted at the fact that the FTG mark was very near of them. Tetsuya told him to just let it eavesdrop for now since he also needed Obito to hear what he had to say to Pain and Konan.
As all the parties sat down, Pain immediately asked Tetsuya about what he knew about the rinnegan.
Tetsuya then began to talk about Kaguya and Isshiki's arrival on the planet, Kaguya being sealed by Hagoromo and Hamura, Black Zetsu's birth, Ashura and Indra's countless reincarnations including what happened to Madara after his battle with Hashirama and on Obito and Nagato.
Obito who was eavesdropping was devastated as he began to put the pieces together and came to the conclusion that Tetsuya was telling the truth since he knew all of their plans and what happened to him.
Nagato didn't want to believe so Tetsuya asked him if he could use Ningendo without killing him.
After Nagato said that he could, Ningendo scanned Tetsuya's memories and learned about a truth of this world that disturbed him greatly. They were just characters from a Manga.
Nagato then promised that he would keep it a secret since there was no point in telling something like that to other people and accepted to fully cooperate with Tetsuya.
Nagato then told Konan's clone to bring them to the main body and as they arrived, Nagato immediately plucked his own eyes and gave them to Tetsuya. All of the others then left to let Jiraya, Konan and Nagato discuss in peace.

They were now back to Konoha with Nagato in tow since Karin told them that she couldn't fully heal him without surgery.
After reporting the mission back to Tsunade, Tetsuya took Sasuke aside, and asked him about what he would do to Itachi. Sasuke responded that he would personally execute him.
Tetsuya then gave him an advice and told him to implant white zetsu cell on Itachi then give him the rinnegan to revive the dead Uchiha.
After consulting with Yuzume, Sasuke accepted to do it and they soon told Itachi what would await him. Itachi accepted since his illness was already terminal and this would be his last redemption for what he did to the Uchiha.
Unexpectedly, Obito came to Konoha to turn himself in after being consumed by the guilt of his past actions.
Kakashi was the only one happy to see that his old friend finally came to his senses.
Obito was then asked to serve as a bait for black Zetsu and use his life to resurrect the victims of the Kyubi rampage afterwards using the rinnegan.

After a month,
Nagato was recovering smoothly and was given Sasuke's old Mangekyou sharingan to serve as his eyes. And since he was given white Zetsu cells on top of that, he wouldn't have to worry about the Mangekyou's comsumption either.
He then went back to Amegakure alongside Konan and announced the dissolution of the Akatsuki.
Kakuzu just went on his way since he didn't have much attachment to the Akatsuki anyway. Although he wanted a severance check but he didn't dare to ask since he was afraid of Konan and Nagato.
Kisame still wanted to believe in the Infinite Tsukiyomi but after talking with Obito and learning the truth he decided to go back to Kirigakure after Obito told him that Terumi Mei would probably take him back.

Obito was now in Madara's old hideout waiting for Black Zetsu to arrive.
Upon seeing Black Zetsu arrive and complaining about the fact that Nagato went against the plan, Obito immediately absorbed Zetsu into the Kamui space.
Black Zetsu was furious about the fact that Obito betrayed him but Obito didn't say anything back.
Naruto, Sasuke, Tetsuya and Jiraya who were already waiting for him inside the Kamui Space then began to jump him, successively attacking him with their strongest Jutsu rendering him helpless to do anything.
Although Tetsuya was afraid that they would need special means to destroy him, it turns out that senjutsu worked just fine so Black Zetsu was successfully killed.
Tetsuya and Jiraya even worked tirelessly for a special sealing technique but it turns out that it was just a waste of time.
