Chapter 775 - Chapter 775: Alliance with the Rhinoceros Demon Clan, Ancient Treasurebeast

Chapter 775: Alliance with the Rhinoceros Demon Clan, Ancient Treasurebeast

Around the Body Refining Tower, silence reigned.

The murmurs that once filled the air had vanished completely as everyone stared in shock at the scene before them.

None could comprehend how both Zhu Gang and Ran Ben, after combining their perfected divine arts, had still been crushed by a single punch from Mo Yu.

In the distance, the two lay blood-soaked, their chests caved in, half-buried under debris, their life or death unknown.

"How's that possible…" someone whispered in disbelief. Even an Eighth-Grade Sovereign couldn't have achieved such dominance.

All were stunned into silence. Only now did they truly understand: the reason Mo Yu never bothered with dividing his opponents was because he didn't need to.

Before absolute power, alliances were meaningless—pathetic, even.

The Thunder Serpent and Crimson Python clan experts stood frozen, the thought of retaliation vanishing completely.

That single earth-shattering fist made one thing clear: they could not even dream of contending with this man.

Mo Yu calmly lowered his arm, the purple-gold glow on his body fading, his expression tranquil, as if he had merely stretched his muscles.

The others unconsciously swallowed hard. They finally recognized the sheer terror of Mo Yu's body—perhaps even more powerful than the divine beast physiques of their own clans.

How did he cultivate such strength? Everyone here knew how grueling true body refinement was, yet this human's results defied reason.

"Big Brother Mo Yu is so amazing!" Mǎng Yù exclaimed, her bright eyes sparkling with awe.

Mang Lie's expression turned solemn. His own strength rivaled Ran Ben's, yet the fact that Ran Ben and Zhu Gang had been so easily crushed meant Mo Yu's power now far surpassed his own.

"There's nothing strange about this," Cai Lin said indifferently, a soft smile curving her lips. "He's already broken through to Seventh-Grade Sovereign. With his physical might, even an Eighth-Grade Sovereign would find him a match."

Mang Lie sighed. "It seems his path was the right one."

He remembered the journey through the tower—their shortcuts chasing fleeting treasures, while Mo Yu had endured genuine, brutal tempering.

That ordeal was what forged such monstrous strength.

Nearby, the Crimson Python and Thunder Serpent clans hurriedly carried away the gravely injured Ran Ben and Zhu Gang. Mo Yu didn't stop them. Those clans still held power, and their defeated younglings no longer posed any threat.

With the battle over, others began to depart. After each opening, the Body Refining Tower sealed itself for ages, and its lure faded. The vast Divine Beast Origin still contained countless fortunes waiting to be unearthed.

As they departed, though, none would forget the human named Mo Yu, whose flesh surpassed that of divine races.

He would be remembered—by friend and foe alike.

Many even wondered: when this man finally clashed with the true prodigies of the supreme beast clans, what kind of spectacle would that be?

The day the divine geniuses met would shake the sky itself.

"The strength of Brother Mo Yu's physique is terrifying. I fear even I must pale before it."

The gathering dispersed, but one man approached—Han Yue of the Rhinoceros Demon Clan. Cupping his hands politely, his tone held respect far gentler than before in the tower. Clearly, seeing Mo Yu defeat two opponents of the same realm had left a deep impression.

Mo Yu smiled mildly. He knew strength alone bred opportunity; befriending such a figure as Han Yue could only prove fruitful.

"Still," Han Yue chuckled, glancing off toward the horizon, "Brother Mo Yu has completely offended Ran Ben. Though that one is nothing serious, his Crimson Python Clan shares close ties with the Forest Titan Pythons. Through them, he has connections…"

"The Forest Titan Python Clan?" Mo Yu's eyes narrowed.

That name belonged to an apex tribe among the divine beast races—second only to the Dragon and Phoenix clans.

Though wary, Mo Yu felt no fear. His life had never been smooth-sailing, from the Dou Qi Continent all the way to the Great Thousand World. Caution, yes—but not retreat.

"We'll be careful. Thank you."

Han Yue smiled, then paused. "May I ask where you intend to head next?"

Mo Yu turned to Cai Lin, who spoke clearly: "We planned to search for traces of the Ancient Swallowing Python."

"The Ancient Swallowing Python, hm…" Han Yue mused with little surprise. "Any leads?"

They both shook their heads.

"In that case, perhaps I can offer some help," Han Yue said.

Mo Yu blinked in surprise, turning curious. "You know something about it?"

"Not exactly," Han Yue admitted, smiling faintly. "But I may guide you better than blind guesses."

"We're listening," Mo Yu encouraged.

Han Yue looked up. "Have you heard of the Tomb of Ten Thousand Beasts?"

"The Tomb of Ten Thousand Beasts?!"

The words made Mang Lie and his sister stiffen visibly. Their faces turned grave at once.

"What is that?" Mo Yu asked.

"As its name suggests," Mang Lie explained, "it is a vast graveyard—a resting place where countless divine beasts have fallen. The air there is thick with death, and alien corruption seeps through. It's one of the most perilous places within the Divine Beast Origin."

"It's said," added Mǎng Yù, "that more than one super divine beast perished there."

"And you think the Ancient Swallowing Python may be among them?" Mo Yu asked Han Yue.

"During the last opening of the Origin, our clan sent someone into the tomb. He claimed to have discovered a Nine-Colored Crystal—unique to the Ancient Swallowing Python."

Cai Lin's breath quickened slightly. The Nine-Colored Crystal—that essence belonged only to her ancient ancestors. If true, then the remains of an Ancient Swallowing Python lay within the tomb.

But that tomb… everyone knew its horrors. Even among Swallowing Pythons, few ever dared venture there.

"Brother Han, may I ask—why tell us this?" Mang Lie interrupted cautiously.

"Because I'm seeking partners," Han Yue replied frankly, meeting Mo Yu's gaze.

"Oh?" Mo Yu inclined his head. "Go on."

After a brief pause, Han Yue continued. "Our clan once found the site where an Ancient Treasurebeast fell."

"An Ancient Treasurebeast?!"

Everyone froze. The very name sent shivers through cultivators across worlds.

Ancient Treasurebeasts were said to devour rare metals and spiritual materials; within their bodies, those substances fused and transmuted into weapons of unmatched power. Some could even refine quasi-sacred or sacred artifacts inside themselves.

Such beasts were born blacksmiths of heaven—divine creators. And when they died, their corpses became treasure troves without equal.

Unfortunately, they were rarer than dragons or phoenixes—almost myths themselves.

But their fame was legendary, even in the human realms.

"That beast, before its death," Han Yue said seriously, "was near the boundary of super divine creatures. Had it survived the ancient calamity, it might have crossed that threshold—and its inner treasures would've reached the level of saint artifacts."

Mo Yu's eyes gleamed. The late Treasurebeast had nearly reached that level… meaning within its corpse could lie quasi-sacred artifacts—perhaps even more than one.

Han Yue nodded. "Our reports suggest at least several. Enough to drive even Earth Sovereigns mad with greed. That's why I can't go alone."

A low hiss escaped Mǎng Lie and Cai Lin. If such rumors spread, every young powerhouse across the Origin would flood toward the tomb.

"And yet you're willing to share this?" Mang Lie asked incredulously. "Why not keep it for yourself?"

Han Yue smiled faintly. "Every fortune comes with a price. The Tomb of Ten Thousand Beasts is deadly enough, but the Treasurebeast's resting place is worse—and others know of it. My clan wasn't the only one that discovered it."

"Several other tribes learned the same—and they, too, will be heading there."

"So," he finished, "we need strong, trustworthy allies. And to be plain, if Brother Mo Yu hadn't proven his might earlier, I wouldn't have considered you. Now—what say you?"

Mo Yu exchanged looks with his companions. After a brief silent discussion, they nodded as one.

Mo Yu extended his hand. "Then, let's cooperate."

Han Yue clasped it firmly, smiling. "Excellent. We should depart at once. The tomb lies far from here—at least five days even at full speed."

At his gesture, three armored figures appeared—muscular, clad in black armor, their bodies exuding thick killing intent. They were fellow Rhinoceros Demon experts, two already Seventh-Grade Sovereigns, the last at the peak of Sixth.

Though fierce, their attitudes toward Mo Yu's group were respectful. The display of Mo Yu's strength had silenced any doubt; none of the Demon warriors objected to this alliance.

Together they formed a powerful force—eight masters in all.

Without delay, Mo Yu and Han Yue led the group in the chosen direction, transforming into streaks of light that shot across the blood-red sky.

As they vanished, the ruined city fell silent once more. The ancient stone tower stood alone… tall, unmoving, and eternal.
