Chapter 658 - The Great Leaders and Future of The World

A top the Red Line in the Grand Castle of Sporos, within the Holy Land of Sacred Eden. Within the Chamber of Light. A large open room with ornate pillars casting long shadows with huge open windows that cast in the most pure light in the entire world. Sitting over 30 KM in the air, the sunlight that radiates in is the purest in the world.

Currently. The third Elder sat standing as a famous painter by the name of Langio. One of the most prolific in the world, painted hundreds of world leaders in a classical and contemporary stylized look. Limited palettes, swathing colors. It was even said that he was able to create and use Paint to sway the emotions of people who looked at it. A fact some say was from pure skill. Others said it was supernatural fueled by his very soul that only he could do.

The Elders got new Portraits every few decades. They had been alive for untold amount of time. Many thought they were immortal due to their immense wealth and power. They worked so hard that they deserved to be on the top.

They were already amidst discussion. They were almost constantly surrounded by one another. At least one of them was with the other at all times it seemed.

"The Gol Family's annihilation. What grand success." Said the first.

"Yes indeed. However we have lost a significant aesthetic loss of culture through the destruction of Ingens." The 4th Said.

"That is true." The Third began "However, with the retirement of The Fleet Admiral and The Commander in Chief. This is a new age. A New Era, for the world government. It'll bolster not only us. But it'll also bolster our control."

"A New Fleet Admiral is a major stride. As all of the Fleet Admirals, have a degree of control comparable to ours. The Marines are the public face and actors and agents of the World Government. On top of our enforcers. Which means any one at the top of their ranks, such as the Admirals. They are the strongest Assets we have. With specifically the Fleet Admiral among them being almost a Celestial in his own right."

"As much as I'd hate to Admit it. The Celestials view the Marines as Heros. Specifically the Admirals. Any random pawn is just a gear whose doing what they are supposed to." Began the 6th "Celestials see the Vice Admirals as 'Bare Minimum.' doing what they should be but not going above and beyond like they should. But The Four Admirals, they icons."

"And the Fleet Admirals are immensely successful and wealthy men." The 5th said "They may be bellow in a sense. As they do not have godly blood. But they have purified themselves through action, ideology, and money. An Apotheosis. Making them holy to."

The 4th rubbed his nose "But. Fleet Admirals and Admirals are known to not stay in their lane. Their lane is control the Marines in our stead. But when it comes to specific actions such as with Zeta or internal politics. They over step. We advise them on the Marines. But leave the decisions to them. But not Vice Versa. We do not ask them for how to deliberate internal affairs amongst our elites."

The Elders were the richest, most powerful, and influential celestial dragons. Each of the m were worshiped as gods. Each of them did not have Businesses and Companies themselves. But they had immense stocks and stakes in companies of the Celestials and those on the Blue Sea. Each one of them had untold amounts of wealth.

The six of them walked down a corridor of gold and marble. At the center of the castle. Away from the Rest. Sat in an immense room, surrounded by pillars. With an ornate and one of a kind blue and purple carpet that lead up dozens of platform stairs. Enormous curtains opened. At the top, surrounded obelisks with stranges inscriptions on their surface. With Circlets, Crowns and Tiaras. Was-

A gigantic throne of purple, blue, red, gold, silver, ivory, ebony. It seemed ordinary at first. Until it was clear that it was so large that a giant could easily sit on it. It was a mix between a chair that was meant to be sat in. And one that could be laid in with legs crossed as many monarchs did. It was wide like a wall. WIth pillars. Decoration of its back rest curved up and into swirls. 30 Dots. 150 Jewels. 275 Engravings

This was the Void Throne. The Symbol of Unity amongst the World Government between it and its allies and no others. The obelisks are said to be ancient law and declarations of fealty to one another at the formation of the World Government. Giving their Crowns up to be a single force. The Throne Represented that there was not a Single Ruler of the World

There never was. In the history of the world. There is never truly only a single sovereign. Even kings have confidants. The greatest trick in the history of the world is for a leader to convince its people that they alone are the ones who rule…

With in the World Government.

There was not 6 Elders…

There Was Seven.

At peak of the Throne. A Figure appeared. They were short. Extremely so. A long flowing cape behind them that hid their skin and face. They like a small blob. It was clear they held some form of headwear that was hidden.

The next moment. They were in front of one of the Windows.

"Lord Asa…" The Elders all bowed to the seventh.

Lord Asa. She was the Seventh Hidden Elder. The Ideological mind behind the World Government. It could said that it was her who was the true ruler of the world. But in fact. She and the six elders worked in tandem. She was the idea. They were the execution.

It was seven who ruled the world

Her eyes were olden. Shimmering in a strange color that was as if there were multiple irises in one. Pupils not round. But sharp like a star.

"Eudora D. Azar is dead. Avery Barbossa is as well. And Kuroryu will be the next head of the Marines. It appears we have taking great strides forward." Spoke the first

"Great Strides…" Her voice was…Strange. Distorted? Hidden? Muffled? Perhaps neutral was the proper term to use. It was certainly flat and stoic.

"Yes. What do you advise that we do?" Spoke the 6th. All of their eyes were on the small figure of their peer

"Continue. Expansion." She turned to face the Elders "Progress. No matter how many must be snuffed out."

"All in favor." The Second said. Asa raised her hand. It was all for show "Aye." Said the first. Followed by the second. Then third, fourth, fifth…

The Sixth Waited "Aye."

"Then it is Decided. The Goal of The World Government in this new age. Shall be to continue. No matter what the cost. Expansion and progress of control and our order. Is our goal…"
