Chapter 547 - Most Beautiful

Delahaye Eliza. Supposedly the most beautiful woman in the world due to her status.

She was. Tiny! Didn't even break 150 cm in heels! Currently, while she was flat footed. Leroy who stood at about 6'2 nearly came to eye level with her. Eyes more at her chest and neck. Meaning she was about 4'9. Maybe an inch shorter or taller.

Her skin was darker than Leroys. A medium light brown or tan. She had a small sharp heart shaped face. Full lips, and piercing green eyes. Her hair was a fire of vibrant red. Like blood in some areas, and from some angles like ginger. It was messy and wavey through out but finely groomed. Strands covered her ears, and covered her fore head in a partial swooping bang and curtain style

Her hands shined with jewelry of golden rings and bands on many of her fingers. Bracelets on her wrists. He could also see small piercings in her ears as well. But were covered up moments later by her hair

Her finely groomed brows furrowed in a look of anger as she looked to Leroy. Hands on her hips.

The dress she wore was so surprisingly simple. In terms of overall design. It was like a dress that acted also like a loin cloth. This was because the dress itself was made of a single piece of fabric, it matched her over all skin tone and hair color.

it was a dark green that was almost black but still wondrous. It was a high leg cut. Exposing her legs in full as two splits of cloth hung between and from behind. A x shaped pattern connected the exposed skin of near her hips. These threads were a complimenting color, white. There seemed to be fine stitching through the entire dress of the hems. Seemingly made of the same pinkish metal as the weapons were made

"Who are you." Eliza spoke with absolute authority in her voice "It'd be wise for you to state your purpose swiftly. And you may just survive this with minimal injuries…" She said as her scowled deepened

But Leroy was not buckled by the sight that had made so many men in his position quake before.

His eyes remind hard and staring deep into her eyes.

He didn't flinch.

This only caused Eliza scrunch her nose. Tension in the air was growing by the second. Even if he knew why these women were here. How respectable it was. The horrors they had all gone through. He needed off the island. And if he had to, he'd fight every single person on this island to do it.

Leroy finally spoke "My Name is Falcon D. Leroy."

Eliza's eyes seemed to lighten at the mention. Recognition glancing past her face "My my…Seems we have quite a celebrity on our hands ladies. You're shorter than I expected. Rumors say that you're demon in the flesh."

"I expected you to be taller. Not a pipsqueak like you." He smirked. Cocky as ever. And filter, as little as their had been before, was gone. Tossed away just as his family had been

‎

SMACK!

Eliza delivered a back hand to Leroys cheek! He felt the sting of pain that told him all he needed to know. Slaps always hurt. But this sting, was the sting of strength. She was strong. If not stronger than him from what he could tell. He could feel the blood pumping to the point of impact.

"You'd best bide your tongue you insolent boy!" She shouts!

Leroys eyes refocused as he stood to his feet. Looming head and shoulder and more above Eliza. But it did nothing to intimidate the woman. But he was done being on his knees

"Do you mean to intimidate me, man." She asks with palpable disdain to her voice

"No. I'm tired of being on my knees in front of one I'd never consider doing so naturally. I bow to no one when I don't know who and what they are. And it's not gonna start with you." He says bluntly

"I do not wish to intrude. I was sent here by the Royal Marshal Benjamin Condent. And merely wish to leave and confirm the safety of my comrades. If you allow me safe passage. I shall be on my way. I won't even tell anyone that may put a risk to this island of its existence"

Her nose scrunches at this. Half at how polite he was being and half by the sheer audacity of him.

"You dare think you are in the position to make negotiations?!" She recoiled backwards. "Typical of your kind. You want to leave. Then you'll have to earn it!"

Zora and Boudicca moved quickly as Delahaye Nodded to the two. A sudden coldness came across the neck of Leroy! He felt all his energy leave him! High Concentration Sea Stone! He couldn't resist as the two women began to push him around, a hood coming over his head!

He breathed heavily, and it was minutes later that he felt the shackles leave, and he immediately made a swing towards his captur, but he was merely shoved and fell to the ground. Bottle still in hand as the hood came off.

He was now in a Dark room. Wrought Iron bars on the far end as some light from above came in. Open air. But he was surrounded on all sides by brick. Corners decorated by pillars, and the same aesthetic as the over all island….

Leroy huffed. He didn't have the energy to try and resist. There was a bed in a corner. Surprisingly well made with clean sheets and a thick mattress. A 'bench' connected to the wall that had some cushioning, and a wooden proper bench that was finely cut wood wimpy propped up on both ends in the middle.

He sniffled. Tears welling in his eyes again while he sat down and uncorked the large bottle, and began to sip from the unfinished liquid inside. The surprising taste of still being partially carbonated but room temperature was better than anything he'd had in the past 3 days…

The sun beginning to go down into early evening…

He was thankfully for Calliope for the drink. The bottle a reminder of her and his crews last moments together…If he was alive. There was a chance everyone else was to…At least for now…

But In that moment. Leroy couldn't feel more alone…
