A Harbinger was in the middle of Attacking the Howl Pirates. Howl had been injured badly by Condent. Meaning that currently, the only ones that were able to properly fight were Akane, Mona, and Dent the Barracuda that had found his way to Howls ship on pure chance and coincidence. And after the Fishmen got a sparring match in with many of the crew.
Dent was putting in decent work into the Machine. Scratching off and taking chunks out of the outer layer of dermal armor. Akane had transformed her arm into a crab claw that was able to cut into the machine deeper. They'd already been at this fight for minutes already. Leaving the entire Town around them reduced to rubble. Rain from the blast that the Harbinger caused from its laser. Water from the Desamare tree rained down across the entire swale.
Akane was using her technique known as 'Crimson Flow' ; it acted similar to Leroy's Gear Second. Using her Chi Chi Fruit to control her own blood, she sped it up and her heart rate to speed it up instead of pumping harder. Causing steam to evaporate off ofH her body as opposed to Leroy who caused steam by producing condensation.
Each of her blows was followed by red scales chipping off and following the lines of motion with each strike, Each one exploding into red mist from the sheer force against the Hardened blood. The loose chips sent flying.
She also morphed her leg into a curved blade to slice deep into it as well. The same effect happening.
Mona on the other hand was focusing her Voice Voice Fruit into a 'Beam' of Sonic force. Her mouth agape but tensed to not be open wide. The Sonic screech visibly distorting the air as it was moving at astonishing speeds faster than sound. The blast waves were constant. Having already ripped away the Fabric of the simple shirt it had worn.
ER, the Doctor of the Crew, who appeared as a white haired well endowed nun with a fiery personality ran towards Howl who was slumped against the wall. Having taken just the right fall "Howl! Get your ass up!" She scans him over with her advanced cyborg tech.
"This things a Cyborg! Way more advanced than me!" He was diagnosed with a simple form of traumatic unconsciousness from blunt force and recoil of the impact. Which meant that this thing had to be stronger than this weakened form of Howl!
Her finger opened into a needle "It's lasers are way more Laser than mine. Faster too. Which is weird cuz I thought mine were legit! Guess not…"
She poked Howl into one of his scratches, and injected a dose of Adrenaline into him. Causing Howls layered synthetic eyes to shoot open with no emotion on his face. He didn't thank her as he stood up. Eyes locking to ER then up to the Eagle that was flying in the air, then to the sloth that was knocked nearly unconscious, barely still in the throws of the living. The sloth form of the Howl Pirate allowed him to preserve energy
Then there was the giant Red Wolf that was panting and breathing heavily from what looks like a harsh beating into its side. A laser wound scorching its flesh
"Hold it still… " Howl commanded with wild and wicked eyes. His facial muscles lacked any emotions as he was locked onto the Harbinger
Akane was bleeding profusely. But this only added to their power as adrenaline coursed through them. Waiting for the right moment as Mona brought her meat tenderizer of a hammer up, and swinging it with extreme amounts of force! Causing the Harbinger to go sliding backwards! Akane then shot Blood from her fingertips to bind the Harbinger, the crimson 'nailing' through the machines hands
Howls hands sparked in explosions as he was locked with the now injured form of the Harbinger like a wild animal. He leans forward and places his hands behind him. Sparks continuing…Then-
A monstrous explosion erupted from behind him! Causing him to zip forward through the short 5 meter distance in two ten thousandths of a second! His feet and hands were exploding so quickly, propelling him to such astonishing speed in record time! The explosions were happening dozens and dozens of times within that time frame!
The machine's eyes were processing the speed with moderate difficulty. But given that one of its optical sensors were out, it wasn't properly reading out the speed at which howl was approaching itself!
Even still it attempted to open its mouth. Sparks flying as the pistons ground against one another. Exposing the internal plasma propulsion system's barrel. The light from the charging beam shined against Howls blank face
But it took .5 seconds to even charge the laser to minimum. This meant one thing.
Howl was faster than its charge time.
The moment howl was right in front of the Harbinger. Its tanned olive skin and muscular body ripped and rended to expose the internal mechanisms shining from the red light of the laser. The Captain raised his hands up. Repositioning his body.
Another immense explosion, stronger than the first! Concentrated into pillars of explosive kinetic force straight into the head of the Harbinger! Causing the internal laser to explode before it left the electromagnetic system!
The Head of the Harbinger was utterly decimated! Gone! The focused pillars had shot straight through the middle of the metal skull. Leaving it in two cleaved halves like a tree nut split by a blade! Molten metal glowing orange in space between as it fell limp…
Howl skidding to a stop as the smoke rose through the air…
