"Two of those 2 Liter bottles!" Calliope said as she put berry on the counter. A man behind a stall with many kegs lining the temporary pop up wall behind him. The man nodded and lifted up two large glass bottles and began letting the Carbonated Soda fill the bottles
"Super!" Calliope says as she arms both of the bottle and hops back over to the group "Aye Lerpy here!" She said as she held out one of the bottle, causing the Captain that was munching on a large pretzel "Root Beer."
"Oh!" He said as he held the pretzel in his mouth and uncorked the bottle with his now free hand, replacing the bread and then take a deep and harty swig from the glass. "What not gonna say thank you?" Calliope said as she finished her own deep drink from the Glass
"Oh shit yeah, Thanks." He said quickly. Causing the Shipwright to chortle in amusement of the Captains utter lack of Manners. Leroy was so strange in that he went from quickly being very well mannered to then having no sense of decorum whatsoever
"Think we should start heading back, captain?" Raven asked as she hed her hands behind her back and leaned forward"
"Oh yeah we have to go find that Zeke dude." Leroy looked around to see which stand they were on. Stand 12 was what the sign on the Large Desamare Tree said. "So that means that he should be uhhh over there right?" He Said pointing in a random direction.
The crew together made their way from the front of the of the Stand where a few Food Stalls sat at the edge of the "Entertainment" section of Swales and Stands. With only the first edge of the Stand 12 having the former 'leak' over onto another Island
This was evident even as the Joy from the entertainment sections into what seemed to be just buildings of either businesses or residences. Certainly those that inhabited this section were of the more "Soapy" variety given how people worked corners, and broad daylight dealings were happening. People that resembled Civilians in the edge, were now the more 'Rough Cut' individuals that looked like Pirates in emotion and disposition
Marines stood around in guard of areas or just seemingly on Patrol. Weirdest of all was the fact many of them locked eyes with Leroy, and clearly knew exactly who he was. But did not a thing about his presence. Even pirates that were right in front of them they did nothing about either
"Heheheh…Heheh. Hahaha!" Leroy began to laugh. Causing the others to look at him with curiosity "Whats that about?" Kirk asked. With a strange and worried look on his face prepared for action due to the Marine presence
"They're not doin anything. Just keep starin at us. At everyone. It like heheh..its-" Leroys laugh started to cover his words. But Eddie knew what he was trying to say "They must be under command toi not engage with anyone here. Like they're just…Observing."
"Heheheh…." Leroy took a sip from the Glass and let it hang at his side as he saw one particular Marine that was blond with a small hair cut but a tall physique with broad shoulders and large hands. He stood next to a board that had many bounties across the noticeboard.
He stopped in front of the man who then looked down at him before looking away and adjusting his posture. "Good Evening Citizen." He said clearly in an utter forced tone. Leroy then spotted his own bounty that could be seen if the man gave a look out of the corner of his eye.
"Heh." He looked from the poster, then to the man and back again, causing the Marine to look as nonchalantly as possible before looking back and away "Is there an issue? I'd suggest moving along if not." Standard procedure response. By the book.
"Heheheh….No problem" He said as he kept looking him up and down as he came to his side and looked at the board. Looking over many of the papers before one caught his eye that spoke of a 'Auction'. It was very blatant and not attempting to hide just what was being Auctioned
"Chattel Slave Auction!" was clearly plastered across the top of the yellowed paper. 'Noon every day.' 'Sold Merchandise is to the highest bidder. Chattel is unused and will need Domestication. As a result they are sold at 30% less than the standard rate.' 'Terms and Conditions: Must be Bought by Cash, or By Bond. Bonds at 12% that of standard price with interest. Slaves will be delivered at a maximum of one week post purchase.'

Leroy snarls at the paper before getting a smile. Waving it in front of the Marine before walking over to the crew as he said "I've got one little thing to do before we go find Zeke."
The Crew gave a Variety of Shocked looks but all listened to what the Captain had to say "I cant just ignore this. It wouldn't be right. I dont give a fuck if itll stir trouble, we're all strong enough to where those consequences dont mean anything. Gotta do something instead of the Bare Minimum like on Judice. Just gotta be careful our consequences dont affect everyone else…"
"He certainly thinks these things through." Eddie said. WIth Noir shooting back "Yeah, when he wants to." That was the thing about Leroy. He was brash, impulsive, but focused and had been working on his temperament well. If it was just him? He didn't care what happened to him because he didn't fear death. He knew that it was the risk of becoming Pirate King. But when it involved others or unknown factors. He thought, Meticulously. Even if it seemed brash and impulsive answer that came from it. He knew, or believed he knew what he was doing was the correct course of actions to account for many things. And anything not accounted for, he could handle in the moment
The crew moved slowly through the Stand before they made it to the end that was blocked by a large wall, as anything beyond it was deemed unsafe and as well, where everything explicitly illegal happened.
But once out, they made a run for it. A few streets were labeled with a paths, leading them right to the large building that seemed so nondescript if it weren't for the signage out front that said "SLAVE SALE" with the name mentioned on the pamphlet. The building was mostly square and definitely looked like an auction house save for the clear amphitheater dome.
"Alright. Everyone, decide quick if your coming in or staying out. Those outside, keep watch, and prevent any of the dear patrons from leaving if you can. But most important is making sure those Slaves get out."
They all nodded and looked to one another and quickly decided. But as for leroy, he suddenly came to a stop as he saw someone standing outside of the building leaning on the Edge
"Rather Melodramatic, Aren't you?"
In front of Leroy. Was Willliam Ned Low. The Director Of Death.
