Caldera…That was his name.
He was was born in the South Blue on the Island of Chili. The Vibrant Island that was 25 x 30 kms. It was tropic, but it's most prominent attribute was the Mountain Ranges that boiled with Magma. Typically in active. But after centuries of eruptions, it caused the ground to become incredibly fertile, allowing for unique plants to grow
These were the Prized produce of Chili. High in Capsaicin, the Chemical that causes the sensation of 'Spiciness' in foods and dishes. It was said that the Peppers known as 'Chili Hot Peppers' or 'Calisich Peppers' had a Scoville heat unit rating of 4,500,000. Or over 500x hotter than a Jalapeno
Even to the Chilian Residents it was hot, but a specialty that was eaten regularly.
But as for Caldera. He was apart of an important family Known as the Flaven Family. One of the many guilds that laid dominion over one of the volcanoes on Chili. Each of the Families near to the Duke, Savo.
He took great interest in the Volcanoes around the Island. Known well of their geology and their igneous properties.
But he was always the black sheep. The one that was too rough around the edges, to quick to anger beyond just being a hot head like his siblings. And one with loose morals. It wasn't rare for him to get into fights with other geologist on the either mountains because he wants to be there and study.
Eventually this was too much for the Dukedom of Chili. Causing him to be exiled.
It was here where he was determined to enter into the grand line in search of something to give him motivation and interest him the same way the volcanoes of Chili had.
It wasn't long until after that he landed on a Small Volcanic Island, a Rouge one. Here he found his Fruit, The Magu Magu. He hadn't known what it was at first, given that it looked like a chili, but when he grabbed it…Its heat was almost to much to hold.
And perhaps one of the only people ever in history to eat a devil fruit. He enjoyed the taste. It was hot, filled with spice. But felt as if it was burnt. "Maybe a bit too ripe." was what he had said. But to anyone else it'd be like shoving a hot coal in your mouth
From there, after being made away of his fruit. He simply walked from island to island. Obsidian forming beneath him.
It was by twist of fate that one day he met a young Pirate by the Name of Barbary. Before Hard Rock, before the Fleet. Before anyone. He was the first to join him.
The two stuck together ever since. In fact he was the one that discovered Hard Rock. An Island that was once rouge and not in the magnetic polarity of the Grand line.
It took kidnapping Scientist after weeks of trying, to detach the island from its base before finally succeeding, the propulsion devices were then installed. Relying on the flow of Magma to move the island around. It could move at a top speed of 5 knots.
He was the second most powerful fighter Barbary had to offer
And currently that fighter was pushing his opponent to the limit.
Fights could last minutes, some days. Even if they were of equal strength. It was all determined by the level of each and how they paced themselves
But pace was not on either of their minds.
"Grrrrah!" The entire ground began to shake, Caldera shouting. Deri warriors Screaming in worry and fear.
"Grand Violent Eruption!" The Volcano behind him began to glow!
"Fuck is that?!" Leroy came to a stop eyes shooting up to the peak of the mountain. "Don't tell me!" Kirk shouted in feat "Both of you get behind me!" He said.
"The hell?!" Noir, Jeanne and Dezzi focused at the volcano looks of worry
Eddie, Winch, and Calliope, the latter stuck in a clash of fists, stopped to look at the rumbling eruption!
"Krakatoa!" Caldera shoved both of his hands into the air! Magma spewing out as the entire peak of the mountain exploded! Rock forming into a giant kilometer wide ball! A wild look on the face First Mate
"Think Fast Masamune! I can protect everyone here…But will you survive?!" His face was twisted into a crazed looked, the magma casting a bright glow of the area.
"Grah!" His brow was sweating heavily as this took everything from him! Slamming his hands forward!
The massive meteor of Magma cracked through the air, flames igniting around it from the air heating up as it flew forward! Wind shooting around and causing the ground to shake and trees to fall!
"Phew….Hrr….Grah!" Kale jumped up into the air with a mighty bound! The ground beneath him shattering! "You might think this will stop me, but I feel as though there is nothing I can't cut!" He spun his swords in front of him, building momentum like a propeller!
"Three Sword Style! Santoryu! Secret Technique!" The Heat got closer and closer causing him to sweat. "Uchikatsu…" The Meteor now stood a foot away as his swords found forward with all the force he could muster! Kikumori forced as sharp as it could be, Jaeger burning hot with nullifying flame!
"Sanzen!" The cut went deep! His upper body and neck releasing from their flex, causing another wave of pressure followed by a flick of his neck! Creating three cuts! Each propagating through the massive structure!
"Conquered Three Worlds!" The First mate zipped through the giant sphere! Suddenly exploding into two massive hunks that split far apart from one another!
"Haff…Haff…" Kale twisted through the air. The giant chunks slamming on opposite sides of Drome
"Did he?!" Noir said "I can't believe…" Jeanne said…Dezzi releasing a noise of excitement "I can't believe it!" Calliope spoke in surprise, causing winch to gimace. Eddie smiling.
"Ba haha!" Raven let out a laugh "He's fuckin crazy!" Kirk smiled. "Holy shit! Way to go Kale!" Leroy pumped his fist in the air.
Masamune could just barely hear them as he soared back down through the air and slammed into the ground!
"Haff…Haff…" He pulled Senkusha from his mouth, releasing a sigh. "Gah…" He slowly sheathed his swords. Watching as Caldera held a thick scowl on his face, his eyes dilated in intense exhaustion.
"Guess it took more out of you to do that than it did for me to cut…" He smirked in a mock. "Guess it makes sense. I did just cut in two. Sucks for you though."
Calderas Knees buckled. Falling to his ass unable to catch himself. "Whatever…Just get over with…"
He dragged Jaeger across his forearm to clean it, sheathing it slowly. "Nah. I'll let you revel in your defeat. You missed the time to die by using a meteor last instead of putting yourself behind it."
"Damn you…Damn you!" Caldera Spat "Many have." He leapt up into the air, then bounced off the air, then again and out of the Drome!
