Chapter 460 - Time in A Bottle

The Car that Jeanne and Dezzi were within buckled as Noir landed on it once again.

"Noir!" Dezzi said crawling over the eternal cage to meet the chef at the window "Are the others taken care of?" They asked, still in their helmi form. They could already feel if they stopped this form they'd be in no position to fight at all.

"Yeah. How many laps to we have left?" He looked between jeanne and dezzi. The Doctor was the one to answer "From my estimation we don't have many more to go. And seeing as how theirs only a couple cars left…" Their gaze shifted to the two cars in front of them and the quickly dwindling cars behind them as the ear picked each other off one by one.

"Right…So if we want to hurry up and get rid of the others?" Dezzi finished the chefs sentence "Then we get to take care of the big guy quicker…"

"Fuck!" Sir grimaced to himself as he looked behind himself as he continued to drive the enormous tanker through the raceway. "I guess I may have overestimated those grateful dead…"

"Alright. Well let's speed this up shall we!?" He slammed his forearm into the front dashboard where all the monitors and dials sat and caused it to explode out the front leaving him a hole to leap from!

Then in a move of agility he skids across the dirt and allows the truck with all of its ten ton weight to slam into him so that he could lift it up over head and then in one motion swing it round and round like a hammer throw and release it flying towards the rest of the cars!

"Oh shit!" Noir yelped as the scrap hurdled and flip over itself like a tumbling turkey on a roasting spit! There was nowhere to go and Jeanne hadn't even processed that it was all ready this close! Dezzi already beginning to move

But something strange happens in battles of superhuman opponents. When one moves at extraordinary speeds such as Noir, one would think that everything would slow down. Everything to move in slow motion.

But this is only a half truth. Fighters who move at speeds like Leroy do see their hands moving as blurs, but not in the same way that an outside observer would see the actions as sudden movements followed by shockwaves with a streak of color.

More in the sense any fighter would see their limbs moving fast but still very much understand whats going on.

The same applies to the brain. If Leroy sees a bullet fired, it does not look like its moving in at a snail's pace, rather fighters brains much like their muscles begin to become supernatural in composition, their neurons not firing at normal speeds but speeds that allow them to process everything around them as normal

This allows for the once thought of Awkwardness of someone having superspeed experiencing conversations super slowed down like a record being halted

All of this is to say, in a moment of extreme adrenaline the fight or flight response of seeing his friends in danger was supercharged by his superhuman body and mind. Viewing everything in slowmotion for only a single second that felt almost like 10.

He Reached forward, Grabbed Jeanne, then grabbed Dezzi (Whose electro had been forced off) and then leaned backwards and slammed his foot into the ceiling! Watching as it slowly began to rupture in thousands of metal shards!

With a leap off the middle of the car his perception returned to normal! Dezzi caught a glimpse of the movement of being in mid air before suddenly appearing to the side of race track on the raised ledge!

"Haff…Haff…" Jeanne swallowed a dry lump in her throat as she blinked, finally processing what had happened as the Tanker bounced and rolled against the ground, pancaking the other cars in its wake.

"Ya know Noir…." A chill went up her spine "Sometimes I forget just how strong you guys are…"

"Yea…" Dezzi said chest heaving.

"So. You decided to speed up our battle huh?" Noir had ignored their comments as he stood on the ledge, flicking his lighter close. Composure kept despite the pain in his body

"You're a fast one, you know that? I didn't even realize you were up there for a sec…" He scratched the back of his head before resting his fist on the hips of his codpiece. "So didya enjoy driving?"

"It was alright." Jeanne said. "Not bad I'd say. No wonder Kirk likes to Drive the Pal- Blossom." He corrected himself.

"Well lets not just stand around." Sir Gigantus suddenly leapt up and backwards! Flying into the singular metal pillar where he'd been before, clawing his hand and slamming it into the vibrating pillar causing it and the sand to cease with tremendous strength!

With the sand coming to a stop, the giant sea bed that it once had been was now solid once again. The bottom layers clumping together and becoming as hard as sandstone

Sir began to move his head to give a sny sneer to the Chef only for the chef to have appeared right in front of him! Foot extended and slamming into him as he rose his guard, hands changing into a black hue as he was sent skidding and skipping across the sand like a flat rock against a calm lake only to explode in a giant cloud of sand!

Tearing his hand through the cloud to disperse it, Sir looked up to see as Noir hopped down from the metal pillar, a small puff of sand beneath him while slowly and methodically rolled his sleeves. Showing the hairy arms of the chef

"You just gonna sit their and take it or you gonna work for your victory." Noir raised two fingers as he looked through his brow, flicking them to call the man towards him

"Grah!" Sir upholstered his revolver 'Shela' and fired a shot!

Noir worked his body to move out the way as he watched the blur zipped past

Noir grit his teeth as he looked towards the man, spitting out his rod of tobacco onto the hot sand and launched forward into a sprint!

"Dezzi…Are you able to see anything happening?" She asked looking to the doctor right as Noir spat his cig out, food prints suddenly appearing in a straight line followed by a huge bellow of sand towards Gigantus!

"A bit. If It wasn't for Helmi I don't think I could keep up with this at all." They said as their eyes were locked onto Noir and Gigants, Watching as their limbs were blurs of movement but their bodies staying in place, blurring and then stopping in another pose before firing into another blur.

It was more comprehensible how they were fighting than one would expect given that not all of them at once were moving at ludicrous speeds.

Sir would reel back his fist and blur into the impact of a haymaker only for Noirs exposed shin to appear and block the impact and a shock wave to be sent backwards and around them

"Bistecca Piedi!" He twisted and slammed the Donkey Kick into Sir when suddenly a single giant arm slammed into the ground! It was triple…no…Quadruple the Size of of the Mans already enormous Body!
