One evening, Liu Yu saw a tree branch coming through the courtyard toward Kayle. Liu Yu was scarred, but was curious at the same time. When she looked at it closely, the tree branch was playing with Kayle. Liu Yu did not know what to do so she went to grab her husband to show him what she saw. By the time Asher and Liu Yu got to the courtyard, they saw that the branch was growing leaf, and the leaves were dropping on Kayle's face. Kayle was laughing and giggling. Asher was surprised and happy at the same time because he knew that the spirit tree likes Kayle. Asher couldn't help but explain to his wife Liu Yu that the tree spirit seemed to grow a like to Kayle. He explained to her that one day, Kayle might have a protector to protect him. Asher also knew that it takes a long time for a spirit to grow and transform into a human being. He also knew that this tree is unique because it already has a spirit without going through a lightening tribulation. He doesn't know why its growth is extremely fast and it's a mystery why it's still alive without all the right conditions. The only thing that Asher could do right now is wait and see what will happen in the future.
Two years later, Kayle grew extremely close to the spirit tree. Kayle plays with the spirit tree all the time and loves to hang out under the tree whenever he can. One day, the tree seemed to be gathering energy. Asher could see through his eyes that energies are flowing into the tree from all directions. Asher was curious and nervous at the same time and couldn't do anything but wait and see.
A year later, energies stop flowing into the tree. One morning, a branch slowly reached into Kayle's room. Kayle was excited and happy to see the branch. He heard a voice speaking to him. The voice said, "I have a gift for you." Magically, a fruit started growing extremely fast from the branch. It was a fruit with vibrant color that glowed brightly. This fruit only took about a few seconds to ripe. The fruit all of a sudden, dropped onto Kayle's hands. The voice gently said, "Eat it." Kayle innocently ate it all within minutes. After eating the fruit, he started feeling warmth and energy flowing throughout his body. Kayle felt like something inside of him slowly started awakening. On his right hand, the lotus was glowing and the left hand, the sword seemed to be coming alive.
Two years later, Kayle's body was growing healthy and full of energies. It is now time for his family to test him to see if he has the attribute to be a cultivator. Every kid that turns five, are tested to see if they have the attribute to be a cultivator. When Kayle was tested through the testing stone, it was shown that he had the attribution to be a cultivator. The stone was glowing bright red indicating that his affinity for fire was very strong.
