The white van slid down the slope at a high speed, tail end first. Wen Nuan turned her head just in time to see it by her side, then suddenly felt a strong force hit her. Gao Chunmiao quickly wrapped her arms around Wen Nuan and they both fell onto the grass, narrowly avoiding the van. The van sped down the hill and, fortunately they were on grass, their fall was not severe. Tang Mandong quickly ran over and helped them up. A man rushed out of the food stall, yelling and chasing after the van. The van continued to reverse down the hill and crashed into a civilian's house, collapsing half of it, with the van's rear lights and windshield completely shattered.
Wen Nuan was in shock; if it weren't for Gao Chunmiao's quick reaction, she would have been run over by the van. Why would the van reverse like that for no reason?
