Ye Shu had been busy all day, and just as she was getting ready to wash up and then lie down to rest, it was at that time she received a call from Sheng Shaochen.
"Hello, calling me so late at night, is there something up?" Ye Shu was no longer as meek towards Sheng Shaochen as she had been three years ago—she simply didn't give a damn about the man who seemed cold and domineering in the eyes of others.
"Come down, I'm taking you to a place." Sheng Shaochen said just one sentence on the phone before hanging up.
Putting on airs? Ye Shu set her phone aside and took her sweet time getting downstairs, only to find Sheng Shaochen's car parked right outside, cigar in mouth, puffing away.
"Let's go, Mr. Sheng, where are we off to for our date today?" Ye Shu took the cigar from Sheng Shaochen's hand and took a couple of deep drags.
Sheng Shaochen didn't respond but instead hit the gas, speeding towards West City.
