When world confronts a human, resistance is inherently difficult. The saying "man can conquer nature" is, in truth, merely a statement of self-comfort.
Therefore, the outcome of this battle was obvious, Aizen was defeated at the hands of Jugram.
Of course, when facing natural laws, humans naturally struggle to overcome them.
But when these rules are in human hands, the possibility of victory exists. Although Aizen lost this battle, Jugram's victory was by no means easy.
Kyōka Suigetsu was an ability that, even in the future confrontation between Aizen and Yhwach, played a crucial role, putting even Yhwach at a disadvantage.
And Yhwach, who was known as the all-knowing and all-powerful one, was the strongest among rule-system powerhouses in this Shinigami world!
Therefore, Kyōka Suigetsu was equally effective against Jugram, with noticeable results, almost allowing Aizen to complete a reversal kill. Unfortunately, the ability of his Schrift was simply too overpowered.
In front of Las Noches, looking at Jugram holding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, Aizen's face darkened.
It had been said many times, Aizen was a very proud man. Losing to Hui had already made Aizen very uncomfortable, and now, having obtained the Hōgyoku, when he believed himself to fear no one except Hui, he had lost again, this time to the mysterious person before him.
Moreover, from various signs, this mysterious person wasn't even the strongest; he was merely an examiner sent to test him, acting on someone else's orders. The thought of this possibility shook Aizen's spirit.
"I understand your ability now." Jugram spoke to Aizen, knowing full well that Aizen and the Hōgyoku had not yet completely merged.
Once they fully integrated, Aizen's power would inevitably advance further, possibly entering the next realm.
If that happened, this Shinigami before him, this man who became the master of Hueco Mundo after fleeing Soul Society, would definitely have the qualifications and ability to become Hui's opponent, or even a match for his master, the monarch of the Wandenreich, Yhwach.
"Hehehe, so you truly are an examiner. Then, shouldn't you tell me now who wishes to test me?" Aizen laughed briefly before speaking, his expression having returned to normal.
He had never been one to be easily defeated. Though struck down, this could not make him lose confidence or his pride.
"Do you expect me to say it here? Not inviting a guest into your courtyard is hardly the correct way to treat visitors." Jugram replied.
Hearing this, Grimmjow and others nearby were speechless. Given Jugram's behavior, could he really be called a guest?
This was simply lying with open eyes! However, they didn't speak up. As long as Aizen was present, they would follow his lead.
"Hahaha, indeed I've been discourteous. Please, this way." Aizen didn't mind; he was clearly more interested in the forces behind Jugram now.
Inside Las Noches, looking at the empty hall, Jugram felt somewhat disillusioned.
However, he didn't show it, instead keeping a serious expression as he prepared to discuss the main business with Aizen.
After the battle, Jugram had acknowledged Aizen's strength.
"I imagine you've already guessed that my first purpose in coming here was to test your strength, to confirm whether you're qualified.
"Clearly, your power completely satisfies the requirements of those behind me.
"So let's get to the main point. The reason for testing your strength is... Mochizuki Hui." Jugram spoke up.
This wasn't actually his real purpose for coming, nor was it what Yhwach had instructed him to say. However, as the leader of the Sternritter, Yhwach's personal guard, and the second-in-command of the Wandenreich, Jugram had considerable decision-making authority.
So after confirming Aizen's strength, he planned to ally with Aizen, or rather, to use Aizen and Hueco Mundo to deal with Hui.
Of course, if this plan failed, he would change his strategy and choose to exchange intelligence about Hui with Aizen.
It could be said that all of Jugram's objectives centered around Hui.
This wasn't surprising, because compared to Soul Society, even the legendary Zero Division, and the Hueco Mundo ruler Aizen before him, Hui was the Wandenreich's greatest concern.
The reason was simple: Hui was too mysterious, and the Wandenreich knew nothing about him.
Whether about the Soul Society or Hueco Mundo, the Wandenreich had clear intelligence on them.
However, Hui was someone even Yhwach didn't know, a person who hadn't left any trace throughout all of history.
Yet his power was terrifyingly strong, enough to threaten the Wandenreich.
Moreover, Hui might have an organization behind him, or other equally mysterious and powerful individuals like himself.
All these factors combined made him impossible for anyone to ignore.
Wasn't the reason for coming to verify Aizen's power also because Hui had referred to Aizen as his future opponent?
Therefore, for Jugram, any opportunity to deal with Hui was one he definitely wouldn't miss.
"Hui... It seems you've suffered at his hands." Aizen pondered thoughtfully, having guessed something.
Jugram didn't deny it. He said, "Indeed, our people have tested Hui and discovered many of his mysterious and powerful abilities, as well as... something you might find very interesting."
"Oh? Something I might find interesting? What might that be?" Aizen was curious.
"We learned from Hui that in this world, there are others like him who have disappeared from history, and these figures seem to be returning."
"!!!" Aizen was shocked internally.
He never expected Jugram would reveal such information.
Hui's mysterious power was something Aizen understood better than most, having faced him twice and suffering devastating defeats both times.
Aizen had thought someone like Hui was a singular case, absolutely unique.
Yet now, Jugram was telling Aizen that there were many others like Hui, and they were returning from the erased history!
How could this not shock Aizen? His heart was stirred by tremendous waves, unable to remain calm.
