Alex's eyes flutter against each other, and he squints his eyes as the light penetrates them. He opens them, and he stares at the grey ceiling as flashbacks kick in. He clenched his hands around the sheets. A sigh came out of his mouth as he closed his eyes again. He hoped he didn't scare her with his madness.
What came over him?
"You're awake?"
He heard a familiar voice beside him. He turned his head sharply to see the person.
" A-" he hissed
He lifted himself from the bed with excitement, but felt an unbearable pain in his stomach.
Avery gazed at him, and she smiled at him before leaving the room.
She came in with a doctor trailing behind.
The doctor checked Alex as he instructed him to lie down. He had to bandage his wounds again since they opened from his abrupt jump.
" Mrs. Gibson
" Avery, the name is Avery." she corrected the doctor.
The doctor nodded, he furthered his instructions to her before leaving.
Avery eyed Alex before saying;
" Rest."
Before she could take a step out Alex called to her.
"Avery, please wait"
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have scared you last night. I'm sorry ."
Avery stared down at him, and she gave him a light smile before nodding. Her body and eyes said otherwise. The door slammed against the wall, and her scent lingered around the room.
He fucked up. He covered his eyes with his hand.
Avery walked down the hallway, her mind wandering about what had come over both of them. Last night was going to be a night she wouldn't be able to keep out of her mind. She panicked when Alex stabbed himself, she had to act calm and call the boys. They looked astonished but didn't ask anything from her.

" Amazing!" Stefan exclaimed
He walked in with Samuel.
" How are you doing, Alex? Sam asked
Alex nodded.
" I loved the drama last night. How I wish I could record every detail. I was thinking about the title, picture this ' Stabbed for my lover.'. Avery should have shot your eyes too. " Stefan exclaimed
He made himself comfortable on the sofa, with his leg crossed over the other, while Samuel tried to hold his laugh.
Alex rolled his eyes at them;
" If you guys are done. You know the way to the door, Avery will be taking care of me.
" Oh sure, make sure, you don't stab yourself with anything else. "
Stefan exclaimed before getting out
