Kazuo who had been inside of his mindscape watching as Inoichi was convulsion on the ground instantly felt it, the entire mindscape was vanishing into darkness quickly whilst Inoichi who had been before him was vanishing,
'They knocked me out most likely. Let's see where this goes.' Kazuo thought as he lost consciousness.
On the outside, Rin was already using the mystical palm technique to check up on Inoichi however she couldn't figure out what was wrong with the man.
"I can't heal him sensei, this is outside of my medical field, the damage was done to his mind and not to him physically. Outside of his mind, everything else looks fine." Rin spoke as she sweated whilst concentrating on the technique but no matter how much she tried, the jutsu simply hadn't been made to deal with this kind of damage.
Kazuo's body meanwhile had already slumped forward, unconscious.
"Kakashi, grab him and send him to the T.I department." Minato spoke as he motioned towards Kazuo, his gaze losing all of its previous warmth, now wasn't the time to be soft even to his own student.
"Yes Sensei." Kakashi replied with a quick nod as he lowered himself and grabbed Kazuo by the arms and put him on his own back before flashing a handsign and using the body flicker jutsu to race out of the house and towards his destination.
"Obito, Rin, take Inoichi to the Konoha Hospital and send news to the Yamanaka Clan, they should be the only ones that might have a way to know what went wrong." Minato ordered before turning towards Kushina who had a worried look on her face.
"I'll be back later tonight Kushina, you stay here. You're still not fully recovered and Naruto's safety is primary at this point." Minato spoke, his voice turning lower as he nodded towards her before using the flying raijin jutsu to vanish in a flicker of yellow light.
He had been using his main body at this point and had actually left a shadow clone at the Hokage office. That was how serious he had taken this situation compared to even the talk with Fugaku that he had done earlier in the day.
At the same time that this was happening, unbeknowns to anyone, a certain individual had been spying from outside the house completely undetected, the being had been fused with a tree and had stayed in its shadow.
As soon as it saw Kakashi heading out with Kazuo on his back, the being vanished under the ground fully.
It didn't take longer than a few minutes after which that in a completey different part of the world, the same being appeared inside of a raining village.
The village was large and made up mostly of metallic constructed buildings and at the top of the largest building inside of this village inside of its penthouse like room stood three people.
One of them had red hair, a shade darker than Kushina Uzumaki, the other had lilac short hair and the final one had black hair and wore a spiral mask.
All three of them were wearing a black cloak with red clouds outlined with white.

There three people were Nagato Uzumaki, Konan and finally the so called Madara Uchiha who had recently attacked the Village Hidden in the Leaves.
The being that had been spying on the Namikaze residence finally showed itself. It was a being that looked anything but human, half of it was completely white and did have a somewhat human appearance however it had a yellow iris and green hair and its mouth seemed to have been stitched up whilst the other half was completley black with no mouth and one yellow orb serving as an eye.
"Madara, Kazuo has been apprehended by Minato Namikaze and is now being sent to the torture and interrigation headquarters inside of the village hidden in the leaves. What should we do?" The black part of the being spoke as it looked at the masked man.
"Nothing Zetsu, the village is currently in too high of a security protocol, if he can't even escape this situation on his own then he is useless to the Akatsuki." Madara spoke, his voice dark and gravely.
"But isn't he a part of us?" A voice spoke up as another man came inside of the room, his voice was the complete opposite of Madara.
The young man who had spoken had spiky orange hair and similarly wore a red cloud Akatsuki cloak.
"We cannot afford to attack the leaf at this point in time Yahiko. We don't have enough strength and It's not like he is some innocent civilian either." Nagato replied as he turned his purple spiral eyes towards the young man.
"I know that but…"
"There is nothing we can do but hope for the best Yahiko. The path towards world peace isn't easy and many will be lost along the way." Konan replied as she sat down on the ledge, behind her two wings made of paper could be seen.
"Isn't this Kazuo guy part of your clan though Konan? I mean he's the only other person known to be able to use paper style." Yahiko replied his voice holding a trace of sadness as he looked at the young woman.
"It doesn't matter." The lilac haired woman Konan replied as she released a soft sigh.
It wasn't that Konan didn't want to save the young man who could potentially be part of her family however the risks were simply too large for a simple operative.
"You don't have to worry that much. Kazuo Hyuga is known for his intelligence and for escaping impossible situations. He has proved it multiple times in the past, against me, against the Raikage and even against the eight tail jinchuriki." Madara said as he walked towards the edge of the building, the rain outside was pouring even more.
It was at this moment that lightning struck, illuminating the mask and the swirling mangekyou sharingan inside of the eyeholes.
'Show me that I wasn't wrong in recruiting you Kazuo.'
