Chris left the Spooky Plate with Laventon to study for now.

He headed to the team leader's office on the second floor to pick up a Galaxy Team uniform.

Like Akari's clothing, the team uniforms were unisex—distinguished only by size. It looked remarkably similar to a school uniform.

However, the team leader also provided Chris with an additional red cap, while the photo showed Akari wearing a white scarf.

"You can receive a new team uniform once you're promoted to team leader."

"But before that, you'll need to complete enough assignments to increase your star rating."

"Although Professor Laventon has requested that you join his laboratory as a researcher, the Captain and I have concluded that with your combat abilities, limiting you to research would be quite wasteful."

"So we've decided to give you dual positions—one as a researcher, and the other as a survey corps member."

"You can accept both researcher and survey corps assignments simultaneously. It's entirely up to you which tasks you choose to undertake," Cyllene explained to Chris methodically.

After finishing, she added a final note.

"The Captain appears to have something to discuss with you. You can find him on the third floor."

"Understood," Chris agreed, then turned and left the organization room to head upstairs to find Captain Cyllene.

When he arrived on the third floor, Cyllene was conversing with two other leaders.

Seeing Chris approach, Cyllene stood and introduced the two captains.

"This is a new member of our Galaxy Team—a traveler from another continent, Chris."

"Hello. I'm Iscan, captain of the Diamond Clan."

"I'm Palina, captain of the Pearl Clan."

The Diamond Clan captain was a young man whose expression carried a certain defiant edge, almost like a troublemaker. In reality, though, he was bold and outgoing—someone who made friends easily.

The Pearl Clan captain was an attractive young woman dressed in red and white, with a flute hanging at her waist.

"Hello," Chris responded with an equivalent greeting.

"Come, sit here," Cyllene gestured for Chris to sit beside her.

The three leaders resumed their previous discussion.

"Recently, our wardens have reported that the Noble Pokémon have become increasingly agitated, though we don't know why," Iscan, the Diamond Clan captain, mentioned suddenly.

"Our Pearl Clan wardens have reported the exact same thing," Pearl Clan captain Palina added.

After speaking, the two exchanged glances and frowned simultaneously.

If this had happened to only one clan, it might have been coincidence. But now that wardens from both clans had given identical feedback, it clearly wasn't random chance.

Something significant was about to unfold.

"Do you have any leads?" Cyllene asked.

Iscan and Palina both shook their heads.

"Initially, we thought it might be environmental factors—temperature or food supply issues. But after confirming those weren't problems, the Noble Pokémon's condition didn't improve. In fact, they've continued growing more agitated over time," Iscan explained.

"After that, whether we sent subordinates or investigated personally, we found no answers."

Palina nodded silently in agreement.

If the circumstances were this consistent, the cause had to be the same.

Chris listened to the captains discussing the Noble Pokémon's temperament issues and guessed this related to events in the storyline.

A descendant of the ancient Sinnoh people would eventually ally with Giratina to cause havoc.

However, the plot required the protagonist to subdue these frenzied Noble Pokémon one by one.

"If there are no immediate leads, let's continue investigating. If the Noble Pokémon's agitation is being caused deliberately, whoever's responsible won't stay hidden much longer," Cyllene suggested thoughtfully.

Iscan and Palina nodded silently, agreeing with Cyllene's proposal.

"Since the Noble Pokémon situation remains unclear for now, we should address the matter of Snowpoint Temple."

"After all, the Snowpoint Temple issue cannot be delayed any longer," Palina said abruptly.

"Currently, researchers from both the Pearl and Diamond Clans have completed their surveys and confirmed this temple has six floors above ground and three floors below! Our teams have already reached the second floor above ground, but we've encountered difficulties..."

"There's a powerful Pokémon guarding the stairway from the second to the third floor," Iscan stated. "Even if Palina and I combined our strength, we couldn't defeat it. That's why we came to see you, Captain Cyllene—to request your assistance in this endeavor."

"After all, Galaxy Team also has a stake in the Snowpoint Temple exploration."

"I'm afraid I cannot," Cyllene declined Iscan's invitation without much deliberation. "I have more pressing matters requiring my attention."

"Then should we postpone the Snowpoint Temple expedition?"

"That won't be necessary." Cyllene suddenly looked toward Chris. "Are you interested in making this journey? I apologize that you've only just joined Galaxy Team and I'm already assigning you such a challenging task."

"You want me to go?" Chris raised an eyebrow.

He wasn't just aware of Snowpoint Temple—he'd actually been there before.

Not the Snowpoint Temple in the Hisui region, but the Snowpoint Temple in the Sinnoh region two thousand years in the future. And if he remembered correctly, that was where the Legendary Pokémon Regigigas resided.

Whether in Hisui or in Sinnoh two millennia later, that location remained Regigigas's domain—that had never changed.

The powerful Pokémon capable of stopping both the Diamond and Pearl Clan captains—if it wasn't Regigigas itself, it had to be at least one of the legendary titans.

"Alright," Chris didn't mind the prospect of capturing one of the legendary titans two thousand years in the past.

While he was at it, he could battle Regigigas. If he could defeat it, he might even capture that one as well.

"Let him handle it?" Iscan and Palina's eyes filled with doubt.

"Don't underestimate Chris. He easily defeated Cyllene before joining Galaxy Team," Cyllene declared loudly.

Defeating Cyllene—was that supposed to be particularly impressive?

However, when Iscan and Palina heard that Chris had defeated Cyllene, their doubts largely evaporated.

This made Chris question the combat capabilities of Iscan and Palina.

Thinking about it carefully, this was two thousand years in the past, and Pokémon battle development was far less advanced than in future generations. It made sense that these two wouldn't be particularly strong in combat.

"However, let me be clear upfront—if the three of us still can't defeat that Pokémon, we'll ultimately need Captain Cyllene to intervene!" Palina stated firmly.

"Once I've resolved the urgent matter at hand, I'll immediately head to Snowpoint Temple. Agreed?"

"It's a deal!"
