Another large wave of companions was sent off by Geryuganshoop.
Chu Yang's eyes lit up.
"Geryuganshoop, you really are a living Bodhisattva!"
But in the next second, the "living Bodhisattva" was casually headshotted by the bald man with a single flick of rubble.
"You've been fighting all this time, and all you can do is throw rocks?"
"How boring."
Saitama looked very disappointed.
Chu Yang also felt a pang of regret. With tears in his eyes, he looted Geryuganshoop's body and stored it in his space.
From a few surviving minions, Saitama learned about Boros' existence and continued forward.
He stopped in front of a towering metal gate over ten meters high.
Chu Yang followed behind, sensing the powerful presence on the other side of the gate.
The ruler of the universe—Boros.
As the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves, Boros had roamed the boundless universe for years without suffering a single defeat.
Due to the extreme survival conditions of his home planet, Boros' race evolved exceptionally powerful physical abilities, with their regenerative power being the most formidable.
Unlike Melzargard's flawed regeneration, Boros' healing ability had no core—it was purely an innate bodily talent.
The only downside was that under extreme conditions, it consumed his lifespan.
But in Chu Yang's eyes, that wasn't a flaw at all—it was merely the price to be paid for such power.
The moment Saitama blasted open the gate, Boros was already seated on his throne, watching him.
Boros, clad in full armor, was in a state of suppressed power.
If not for this self-imposed restraint, he wouldn't be able to enjoy any fight—because he was simply too strong!
Saitama understood that feeling all too well.
Boros stepped down from his throne, slowly descending the stairs as he spoke of the loneliness he had felt for years due to his overwhelming power.
"I've invaded countless planets, only to find no worthy opponents in the end. I longed for a real fight—until I heard the prophecy of a certain seer."
"He said that on a distant blue planet, there existed someone who could rival me. So I spent twenty years, crossing billions of light-years to get here. And finally, I've found you!"
Standing before Saitama, the veins on Boros' single eye bulged with excitement.
"But before that, I need to get rid of the insignificant bug."
As soon as Boros finished speaking, he flashed to Chu Yang's side and threw a powerful punch.
Lightning surged around Chu Yang, and his Tailed Beast Cloak instantly materialized, stacking buffs to the max. He raised a hand and blocked Boros' strike.
The entire spaceship trembled violently from the impact.
"Oh?!"
Boros was extremely surprised, even a little bewildered—how was there another strong warrior who could withstand his attack?
Taking advantage of Boros' momentary distraction, Chu Yang grabbed his fist, dragged him instantly to Saitama, and pressed a hand onto Saitama's shoulder—then all three of them vanished.
By the time Saitama realized what was happening, he and Boros had already arrived on a remote island.
"You two can fight here. Otherwise, you'll wreck my spaceship."
Beneath Chu Yang's feet, a Flying Thunder God seal shimmered faintly—he had prepared everything in advance.
From the start, his true target had been Boros' entire spaceship.
If possible, he would have liked to capture Boros alive for research, but unfortunately, this guy would only fight to the death and disintegrate into dust—there was no way to take him alive.
Finding himself suddenly transported to a strange island, Boros was furious, feeling that he had been played. Just as he was about to confront Chu Yang, the latter disappeared right before his eyes.
Saitama rubbed his bald head and asked, puzzled, "That spaceship was his? You really are a big liar."
Boros' single eye burned with rage. With a roar, he shattered his armor and entered his normal state.
The battle began.
Saitama, now in his serious mode, effortlessly dodged Boros' attacks.
"The way you invade planets just for the thrill of battle is truly despicable," Saitama said before punching Boros straight into the ocean.
Moments later, the sea boiled, and Boros shot out, raising towering waves that submerged the island.
The fight continued.
Meanwhile, Chu Yang returned to the spaceship and began placing Flying Thunder God seals all over.
Following Saitama wasn't just about gathering materials—everywhere he had stepped, he had left a mark.
The spaceship was simply too massive. A single use of Flying Thunder God wouldn't be enough to teleport it; he needed to set up numerous seals to make it work.
"Metal Knight wants to scavenge from this? I won't even let him drink the wash water!"
Just as Chu Yang finished placing the final seal, he sensed an unusual disturbance—the spaceship's weapons system had been activated.
Outside, Child Emperor also detected an energy anomaly and immediately notified Hero Association Headquarters that the spaceship was preparing to fire.
Inside the headquarters, panic ensued as people began evacuating.
But it was too late.
The bottom of the spaceship glowed with a series of violet lights—the energy cannons were about to fire.
The S-Class heroes, including Bang, braced themselves for impact.
But they knew the truth—once the cannons fired, no one would survive.
Boom!!!
The deafening roar of artillery filled the sky!
At the critical moment, a small figure appeared—Tatsumaki.
She raised her hand, unleashing her immense psychic power, stopping the house-sized projectiles in midair.
Floating into the sky, she pointed a finger upward, and all the missiles reversed course, shooting back toward the spaceship.
A glint of satisfaction flashed in Tatsumaki's eyes as she prepared to enjoy the sight of the spaceship being blasted apart.
But suddenly—
The 15,000-meter-long starship vanished.
Above City A, only empty air remained...
Tatsumaki was dumbfounded.
Bang shivered.
Atomic Samurai's sword slipped from his hands.
Everyone was utterly terrified by the supernatural scene before them.
A group of executives stood by the window, staring blankly at the sky.
"A spaceship that huge... just disappeared?!"
"So… does this mean the crisis is over?"
"Great! Earth is safe! We're all saved!"
"Great my ass! Hurry up and find that spaceship! Otherwise, we've lost big time!"
The board members at headquarters were thrown into chaos.
Outside, the heroes let out sighs of relief.
One way or another, the disaster had ended.
Only Tatsumaki remained furious, feeling as if her moment of glory had been stolen.
Meanwhile, Sonic had broken free from the illusion, while Melzargard lay unconscious before him, his face still contorted with terror.
"A guy with infinite regeneration… Dr. Genus would be thrilled to experiment on him, huh?"
"My master would be just as excited."
Sonic grinned, effortlessly hoisting Melzargard onto his small frame.
Just as he was about to leave, someone's arrogant voice rang out.
"You so-called S-Class heroes—what's even the point of you? The whole city is in ruins!"
Sitting on a rock, A-Class hero Sweet Mask stared at the battle-worn heroes with disdain.
He hadn't even lifted a finger during the fight, yet here he was, shamelessly lecturing those who had risked their lives.
Sonic was instantly irritated.
He had been one of the key fighters against Melzargard, yet every word from Sweet Mask felt like an insult directed at him!
Trash? Useless? Idiots?
Sonic put down Melzargard and silently walked toward Sweet Mask.
"You wanna fight me?"
"A mere C-Class hero..."
"Don't think that just because you followed a few S-Class heroes around, you can take credit for everything."
"You and your master are both disgusting."
Sweet Mask still held a grudge against Chu Yang for taking the top spot in A-Class.
That last remark nearly cost him his life.
Sonic's blade flashed.
A streak of silver light cut through the air.
Sweet Mask's voice was abruptly cut off.
A gruesome wound appeared on his abdomen.
The S-Class heroes present were all visibly shocked, especially Metal Bat, who was the closest to the two.
Everyone had assumed that Sonic and Sweet Mask were just engaging in a war of words. No one expected Sonic to lose his temper and attack.
Least of all Sweet Mask himself—he never imagined he wouldn't be able to dodge Sonic's strike.
He wasn't an idiot. Sonic had approached him, and he had been on guard.
