The crystal light cast a shadow over Cadie's face, his dual-coloured eyes shone ominously through his silver glasses.
He held a scalpel in his hand, hovering over the trembling man who was tied up on the table and bleeding profusely from his severed legs.
"You shouldn't have stolen from your master…Regretfully, I have to kill you.'' Cadien said with a tone filled with genuine pity, but the scalpel slicing through the man's hand said otherwise.
"Argh…master please…I won't…'' The man cried out, his voice laced with pain as he felt the scalpel slicing through his veins and bones.
Selina watched wide-eyed, streaming with tears as the man's hand dangled loosely, blood splashing out, soaking the marble ground.
"Don't worry and go in peace, your body would remain preserved for eternity,'' Cadien uttered, his expression serene as if he was doing the man a great favour.
