"Professor Shiki follows the Berserker Path!" Yoko exclaimed, her voice betraying a mixture of admiration and surprise as she covered her mouth with both hands.
Barrios leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms, a crooked smile on his face. "Yes. And he's the fourth-best user of that Path."
"The fourth?! And he's not even a Metaryon?" Jenny exclaimed, her eyes widening as though the idea defied all logic.
Zendal, sitting calmly, shook his head. "Metaryons who follow the Berserker Path have a natural advantage thanks to their raw strength, but that doesn't mean they'll make better use of the Path than everyone else."
Areyos frowned and leaned forward. "If he's fourth, who are the top three?"
"Your grandfather, for starters," Zendal replied without hesitation. "Then Atlas, and finally Barrios."
Kaiser turned toward his father, raising an eyebrow. "Atlas? The guy you and Thaleus had to subdue together?"
