He takes a quarter and drops it from a few feet, so it makes a noticeable sound.
Guard 1:did you hear that?
Guard 1:yeah, let's look.
Monri: "Damn it, I thought I would only bring one guard. I just have to be fast."
When he hears the guards get close enough, he turns the corner with his unsheathed blade as he slices the first guard's throat and, without hesitation and using the momentum from the first slice, he slices the other guard's throat; both guards fall to the floor, clutching their throats. He follows the wall to the front double door of this gray brick building. Looking through the window of the front door, he sees a warehouse filled with crates, armed guards, and in the center is Cassandra, who is handcuffed to a metal pole with her head down.
Monri: "I should do this quietly, I won't kill the other guards outside."
He slowly goes into the building, making sure not to make noise. When he finishes, gradually closing the door, he crouches over to a bunch of crates as cover, as he looks around and sees security cameras along the walls, and he whispers into his phone.
Monri: Al, is there a way for you to hack into the cameras and see what they see?
Instead of hearing Al from his phone, he hears Al from his earpiece that he unconsciously put on.
Al: Of course... and I'm in, what would you like to know
He puts his phone back into his pocket.
Monri: How many guards are there?
Al: 16 in total, all armed like the ones outside, be careful
Monri: Can you tell me their location?
Al: Absolutely, using your current position, there are 8 on the left and right patrolling, the closest one is a few feet to your left and a bit forward
Monri peaks out of his cover and sees the guard with his back turned, and then. He looks around making sure no one looking this way as slowly walks up to the guard and when he is behind him he stands up slowly and puts his left hand on the guards mouth and he falls backwards pulling the guard with him as they make a soft thud and with Monri free right hand he slices the hairs throat with his sword as he only lets go when the guard stops moving and he moves the guard off of him and gets into a crouch position.
Al: Quest Completed. When you come back, you will get your new Quest, due to the final quest being completed on tier 1
Monri quickly and silently kills all the guards effortlessly, and with every kill, he feels nothing, but his blade feels lighter and sharper. When he is done, he stands up straight and goes to the center where Cassandra is, as he sees she is curled up, as she has a blind fold on.
Monri: Hey, Cassandra, it's me
Cassandra:M-monri? What are you doing here? You need to leave. There are armed people.
He takes off her blindfold.
Monri: It's fine, I took care of them, you're safe
Al: A van has stopped outside, and 6 people have exited the van, and they are all wearing full tactical gear; they don't seem friendly
He starts to uncuff the handcuffs with the keys he found on a guard.
Monri: I need you to go to the corner and surround yourself with boxes. I'll come and get you when it's safe.
Cassandra:o-okay
She starts walking to the back right corner, and he sees her slowly moving boxes. A voice from a radio that's nearby a guard's body. He grabs the radio and hears a man's voice.
Radio: Come out, and we won't harm the girl
Monri: You will not harm her? You're the ones who kidnapped her
Radio: You think this is about her? This is about you. We know what you can do, and we are here to take you out
Al: This situation is less than ideal. Would you like me to call for backup?
Monri: I don't want to involve Shini or Midas with my mess
Al: I can send you some backup that's not shiny or midas
Monri: You know other people? We will talk about it later, but yeah, send them
Al: They will arrive here soon
He talks into the radio.
Monri: Can you give me some time to think about my options
Radio: You have five minutes
Meanwhile, with the team outside.
Team Member 1:why are we giving him time?
Leader: We don't know what he is capable of, and to give time for reinforcement to arrive.
