"So... you're coming with me?" Alex asked, raising an eyebrow.
Tony nodded without hesitation. "You bet I am."
A few minutes later, the sound of gears and servos filled the room as Tony stepped into the red-and-gold Mark II armor. The arc reactor in his chest lit up with a soft blue glow, and the helmet clicked into place with a smooth metallic slide.
Fully suited up, Tony turned toward Alex. "Can you even fly?"
Alex smirked. "Try to keep up."
He raised a hand, and in an instant, two massive wings burst from his back. They were smooth, glowing with silvery-black light and streaks of eerie white. They didn't look like metal—they seemed made of something more spiritual, almost otherworldly.
Tony blinked behind his helmet. "You've got wings now?"
"I've always had them," Alex said casually. Though in truth, the wings had only appeared after his Supreme Demon Lineage had been repaired to 5%.
That upgrade had unlocked the skill Demonification, a weaker version of the Devil Body. It let Alex transform parts of himself into demon-like traits—claws, enhanced limbs, even unnatural strength. Now he had started to grow wings—beautiful, terrifying things in black and white, pulsing with otherworldly energy.
Alex floated toward Tony, wings steady in the air. He gently tapped Tony's chest plate, right above the arc reactor. A ripple of dark energy flowed from his fingers.
Tony's suit shimmered for a second… then became cloaked in a soft black haze, like a thin shadowy veil had settled over it.
Tony looked at himself. "Uh… what did you just do?"
Alex grinned. "Veil of Shroud. It's like a stealth cloak. It bends light and lowers your energy signal. You'll be almost invisible while flying."
Tony raised his eyebrow under the mask. "So, I'm invisible?"
"To radar, drones, satellites—yes," Alex said. "Just don't crash into anything."
Tony chuckled. "Alright. Shall we go?"
Alex gave a small laugh. "Yeah, let's."
The wind howled around them as they shot through the sky—two figures moving unseen through the night.
Afghanistan – Remote Outskirts, Nighttime
The wind blew dry and harsh across a remote desert, where a hidden weapons base stood at the edge of a scorched village. The area was guarded by armed men and filled with crates—some stamped with the Stark Industries logo.
Then, the night exploded.
Tony Stark dropped from the sky like a missile, his boots hitting the ground with a thunderous shockwave that sent nearby gunmen flying.
Screams erupted.
In seconds, Tony blasted repulsors from both palms, blowing up a truck full of stolen weapons. Soldiers scattered, but the Iron Man suit was already back in the air, firing off mini-missiles and laser-guided shots. Drones were destroyed. Guard towers collapsed.
And then it got worse—for them.
Darkness rolled in like a wave.
Alex floated down from above, his wings spread wide, eyes glowing faintly purple. When he landed, it was as if the whole base froze in fear. Even the firelight dimmed.
He raised his hand.
"Authority of Darkness: Drown the Light."
A dark wave surged out from him, smothering all light sources. Torches, floodlights, and even the stars above seemed to vanish. Panic spread as tendrils of blackness came alive—pulling people into the shadows one by one. Bullets vanished into the dark, and no one could tell where Alex truly was.
A man tried to flee.
Alex appeared before him in an instant. "Who told you you could run?"
His arm shifted—becoming a demon claw. It pierced straight through the man's chest. With a flick, Alex tossed the body aside and turned to the next.
Tony landed beside him, standing in front of a flaming pile of weapons. "Are you really a doctor?"
Alex's wings moved gently behind him. "Even doctors have dreams."
Then he moved again—dark chains and black blades tore through walls and weapons. No one stood a chance. Every hostile soldier was dead within minutes.
When it ended, smoke drifted through the air, and all that remained was ash and burning crates.
Tony stood in the middle of the destruction, breathing heavily. The blue glow in his chest pulsed like a heartbeat.
"You didn't leave much for me," he said quietly.
Alex folded his wings and looked around, calm again. "They were just people with stolen toys."
Tony narrowed his eyes behind his mask. Something felt off. He talks like he's not even human anymore...
Still, he gave a nod and glanced at the night sky.
"There are still more bases," he said, shifting his tone. "Want to make it a race?"
Alex tilted his head curiously.
Tony smirked. "Eight more bases. Let's see who takes out more."
He shot into the sky, thrusters blazing.
Alex laughed quietly. "Competitive, huh?"
His wings opened fully again, their shimmer reflecting the fires below.
"Let's make it fast."
With a rush of air, he soared up after Tony, vanishing into the clouds, leaving nothing but a trail of ghostly light and shadow behind him.
Northern Afghanistan – Arms Base Delta
The wind stirred gently above the heavily fortified base, moonlight bathing the rows of weapon crates and military trucks. Guards patrolled lazily, unaware of the storm about to descend upon them.
And then… silence cracked.
A faint black shimmer tore through the sky like a rip in reality.
BOOM.
Alex dropped like a meteor—no sound, no warning—just pressure. His boots slammed into the earth, and the shockwave alone crushed the nearest tent, flipping two armored vehicles like toys. Dust swirled violently, panic erupted.
Soldiers raised their weapons—
Too late.
Alex raised a single hand, palm open toward the air.
His voice echoed like a bell struck in hell:
"Dark Authority: Dark Annihilation."
Above him, the shadows warped. The sky trembled as a black seed-like sphere bloomed mid-air. It twisted and churned—dense, humming, like the eye of a void storm. Ethereal veins of dark crimson lightning danced across its surface.
Then—without a sound—it shot downward, like a bullet from the abyss.
It hit the center of the camp.
A split second of stillness—then pure obliteration.
