POV Rio
It had been a few weeks since Android 1 was turned on, and I had spent most of that time with my family just having fun. But I decided it was time to get back to doing what I need to do. Thus, it was time to do a trial I had been planning for quite some time. I wasn't fully sure what to expect for difficulties or rewards, but I figured I could use the Trial as a Hyperbolic Time Chamber if anything.
'If it all goes according to plan, I should be back in 2 or 3 weeks in main Universe time. It will be a while, but it will give me up to 3 years of training. I should have gotten all my base stats to 1000 by that time. Hopefully.'
I took the Training Chamber with me as I would need it more than Raditz or the Ginyu Force. I was also bringing several beings with me. Android 1 and 2, as well as CZ2128 Delta. Delta was bought by Momonga when he learned that I was going to a world full of robots and androids. Android 2 was the improved version of Android 1 and was completed a few days ago. He was made to look like Arthur Maxon. Android 1 was given the name Violet. And Android 2 was named Maxon.
'I think I have everything. I can start the trial now.'
I vanish in a blip of light, and when I appear again, I find myself in a facility.
'We are deep underground. Very deep.'
I let Violet, Maxon, and Shizu out of the briefcase, and we started to explore the facility. From what we could find, this was an old military bunker that was abandoned several centuries ago. We decided to leave the bunker, but instead of leaving out of the door, we used teleportation.
Rio: "Maxon, go invisible, and then I want you to map out the dark side of the planet. Violet, do the same but for the light side. Shizu, you are with me. Any questions?"
They all shake their heads, and Violet and Maxon start flying away and turning invisible. I just started walking through the ruins of the city we find ourselves in. I wanted to explore a bit without using any of my powers. The world was fascinating.
Rio: "This place is beautiful in a way. Nature has reclaimed most of the city but yet even with all of humanity gone, conflict has not ended."
Shizu: "Hm."
I smile at her stoic answer. An explosion is heard in the distance. We look that way and I start walking the other way.
'No thanks, I don't need to get involved in everything. I am on a walk.'
As time goes on, the explosions get closer and more frequent. Eventually, the building behind us collapses, and a massive machine stumbles onto the street. I look at Shizu, and she does the same. We play rock, paper, scissors, and I lose.
Rio: "Sigh. Fine. Let's get this over with."
Machine: "Lifeform detected. Possible human."
I was in my human form as I wanted to see the reactions. I just pointed my finger at the robot and said one word.
Rio: "Die."
A narrow ki beam launches at the robot, and it is vaporized in moments. Then I just started walking again.
Shizu: "Follower."
Rio: "Yes, I know. But I don't sense any hostility. As long as they don't attack, we can leave them alone."
POV A2
I watch as the being that looks human walks away from the massive machine that I had been fleeing from. I didn't even fully know what they did, but it destroyed the machine instantly. Then there was the girl with them. She was strange. She acted very strangely, but she looked human. But that was only at first, as when I saw her face, I knew that she couldn't be human.
'She has eyes like a robot. But the other one destroyed the robot. And I have never heard of a robot that looks like an android. Perhaps she is a YoRHa prototype like me?'
I was not sure if I should follow them, but I was too curious, so I decided to follow them for a while.
POV Rio
I let the android follow us for a while until it seemed to get bored and stop following us.
'Hmm, wonder who it was. Not that it is that important.'
We continue walking until I have my fill, and we head back to the rendezvous point and wait for Violet and Maxon to transmit their preliminary report. Once they do, I look it over.
'Hmm, it seems I was right, the dark side is a frozen wasteland. But it doesn't explain how the light side isn't a burning wasteland.'
We teleport back into the bunker and start setting it up as our base. I get ready to wipe out the machines. My plan was simple. I would use the Zap Plate to take over the robot network and force them all to self-destruct and self-delete. I knew it wouldn't wipe out all the robots, but it would erase most of them. And I already knew the aliens were dead, so rebuilding the robot network would be nigh impossible.
'And it would be pointless. If they make another, I can hijack that one as well.'
But before I used the plate, I needed to make preparations so I didn't kill myself while also not giving the robots time to react. Which meant I had to be subtle before I launched the attack.
'I also need to anticipate that the robots have made contingency plans. They did betray their creators, and they are dead set on consuming this planet, or at least in some way they are.'
Several Days Later...
After several days of preparation and slow infiltration of the Robot Hive Mind, I was ready to initiate the hostile takeover. During my prep time, Maxon and Violet had finished the mapping of the planet, and not much was learned. But what was learned was very important. Maxon had managed to identify a source of the planet's issues. It was a massive concentration of a strange substance that seemed to have a highly lethal effect when exposed to organic material.
'If what they found is right, then that should be the source for the planet's frozen rotation. Or at least a major contributor. It could be a super weapon, I am not sure, or it's some kind of parasite. I will have time to study it later. For now, let's deal with the robots.'
I tapped into the Zap Plate completely and took full control of the robot network. I then gave the order to self-destruct and delete all files they had on their computers. The most advanced robots noticed something wrong, but they couldn't stop the orders, and they were followed automatically. All of this took only 3 femtoseconds to happen. Needless to say, the robots were advanced but not advanced enough to respond fast enough. I made sure the hive mind was cleared of units and then caused it to blow up as well. I watch a live video of a massive underwater facility erupt and turn into a massive crater. The Tsunami it caused would be a problem, but the waves would take a long time to reach any inhabited areas, as the facility was on the dark side. I stop using the plate and place it back in my inventory.
Rio: "It's done. And thankfully, it worked flawlessly. Maxon, a Tsunami has been made. I am sending you the coordinates. Please destroy it before it makes landfall on the light side."
Maxon: "Yes, sir."
He teleports away, and I go to take a nap.
Rio: "Violet, please go check the planet for any remaining Robots. If you find any, do not eliminate them immediately, just watch them. Shizu, please assist her."
Both: "Yes, sir/Copy."
Once they leave, I go to sleep, and when I wake up, I check the reports they sent. According to them, only 3 robot settlements had been found. Two were confirmed as peaceful settlements we knew about prior, but the other was a factory producing more machines. They watched the last one, and the Android Resistance attacked it. In the end, the factory was destroyed and all the robots were eliminated. Once that happened, they kept an eye on the two peaceful settlements. One of them was visited by an android on occasion, but the other was left alone for now. Lastly, Maxon had dealt with the Tsunami.
'Hmm, that android is likely a rogue android. Perhaps it's A2. Or another android. But the other group is likely going to cause problems, as they are a kingdom led by a broken robot. But it's not my problem. I now need to work on getting the planet fixed. A Crystal Clone with the Jewel Of Life will do, but that contaminated zone will need more work.'
I sent the order to stand by for now, and for Maxon to go with Shizu, as she was the weakest member of our team. She was thankfully watching the village and not the kingdom.

Authors Note:
The first task of the trial is complete. I know the lore of Nier is a bit vague or non-existent in places, so I will be filling in the spots here and there. Also, Arthur Maxon, in this case, is the Fallout 4 character, in case you didn't know. Momonga bought the summoning with his own earnings, as Shizu was fairly cheap, especially with the discount Nazarick provides. So yes, Mononga and other guild members can buy NPCs from the Tomb without Rio if they have the equivalent value of what they are buying. Until next time, Ciao.
