Zhou Yuxi's jaw tightened. She couldn't explain, not in any way that would make sense. She couldn't tell them that in another life, in another existence, she'd been trained by the best military instructors, had flown missions in conditions that would terrify commercial pilots, had logged more flight hours than pilots twice her apparent age. She couldn't explain the muscle memory that came from a lifetime that technically never existed in this world.
"Just trust me," she repeated, her voice softer but no less certain. "Now, both of you need to go back inside. It's not safe to be this close once we start the engines. This isn't like the smaller helicopters, this machine generates significantly more force."
