"Man it's crazy how rich people can be this useful." Rika says as she looks at all the things she had bought. Rika had bought absolutely nothing of use for an adventure. Just a bunch of things that had caught her eye.
"Thank you Ms, Nyla for all of the generosity you've shown us today." Dante bows to her. Nyla giggles. "It is really no issue for me." Nyla gracefully says. Dante stammers over his words before they can even come out and he bows.
Kaito hugs her and Nyla hugs him back. "Wow, it's crazy she even allows someone like Kaito to touch her at all, the Nyla I always saw around town made sure people never even came in contact with her." Dante thinks and then he panics. "Unless Kaito is dating the noble lady?!" His face is flushed with surprised and Rika side eyes him.
They follow Nyla and she is sure to treat them to the best inn in the entire town!
"This place is huge!" Kaito says as he runs into their room.
The room is a marvel to be hold, truly is nicer then anything else Kaito has spent time in, well ever!
As Dante and Rika run around the room. Nyla pulls Kaito to the side. "Are you companions aware of your lineage?" Nyla asks Kaito. Kaito shakes his head. "I haven't told them about it." Kaito replies.
Nyla nods softly, seeing he's nervous. "I understand. I am to blame for that hesitance I presume, I hope when they learn of it they are kinder to you then I was." Nyla says to him.
Kaito turns and watches Dante and Rika wrestle over things in the expensive room, a small happy smile stretches across his face. But the thought of him telling them, of his Kaya blood, and the possibility of him losing them because of it makes the smile fade.
"I hope so too." Kaito says, is unsure voice is telling for Nyla. She holds his arm comforting him. "I'll be awaiting your arrival back in my home." Nyla says.
She leaves the room and Kaito goes to join his friends. "How rich is this girl!?" Rika shouts as she looks at the ceiling carved out of gold. She then spots a hot tub. "Dibs on the tub!" Rika shouts as she sprints away.
Dante sits on the softest couch he's ever seen. He sinks into the plush couch. "You keep surprising me with stuff, you know that Kaito?" Dante asks as he rest.
Kaito sits next to him. "I'm very mysterious." He playfully responds.
In the night As Nyla walks she's accompanied by her two guards.
Throughout their carriage ride they were so silent so she decides to spark conversation. "Had my father realized i'm gone yet?" Nyla asks. "He's aware, he's on his way now actually." A guard responds relieving her a bit.
Nyla smiles. "That's perfect, so I won't have to go far to meet with him." Nyla says.
The guards laugh. "Right ma'am makes our job easier." They say.
Nyla is off put by this response. "What a peculiar thing to say." She wonders. She then realizes that her guards voices sound different. She looks closer and realizes one of the guards hands is covered in a crimson substance.
As she inspects closer it's covered in.... blood. Nyla's heart drops. "M-May I ask where you're escorting me to?" Nyla asks. "You sure are sharp noble woman, sadly it's too late, don't worry about where you're going it's a good place." One of the guards say.
The other reaches back for her and she attempts to escape as she's pricked by something. "Kai.....to" Nyla's conscious slips and she falls asleep.
The next day arrives and Kaito and his friends depart from Trays immediately. "The route we're going we should avoid anything dangerous." Dante says.
Dante gulps, "the fastest way to get there though is through this haunted forest of Rugarand." Dante says and Kaito immediately smiles. "Then that's where we should go!" Kaito happily says.
Rika and Dante strike him. "There's no way we're doing that!" They yell in unison.
Kaito gets sad. "It would've been cool though." He says sadly.
Rika shakes her head. "Well that's too bad!" Rika yells back at him.
"Alright then we're going through the passageway through the deaden valley." Dante says.
Hours after their departure Nylas father arrives in Trays.
"Spread out and find my daughter." He says his irritation evident in his words. "Why Nyla, why have you run off?" He wonders.
As he ponders on his missing daughter one of the guards come over to him. "Sir! We have found something!" He says.
He follows them to find Nyla's guards. Beaten to a bloody mess. Only one of them left breathing. "Who did this?!" Nylas father questions. The man struggles to answer, before long he passes out.
"Sir we have surveillance of the area." A guard says. With each second that passes as he looks over the footage his irritation grows more and more. Not only does he see Nyla. He sees her with Kaito, the Kaya.
"No that monster." He quietly mourns. Fearing the worse he runs to the inn they rested at.
"I'm sorry sir, but those kids left already, their room was payed for by none other than Ms Nyla herself." The inn keeper tells him. Her father shakes with rage. "That fiend kidnapped my daughter!" He shouts.
"Find him get whoever you need and find Him!" He shouts at all of his guards.
When he's alone he shakes. "You have my word, Kaito Nakaya I will have your head!" He shouts.
