Jack dodged the attack from the tree sentinel and he used his dagger to stab in-between the horse's armor.
Jack noticed the tree sentinel wasn't strong... It just relied on the horse to add the extra UMPH to its swing.
With the dagger, Jack slashed the horse's Achilles causing both the sentinel and the horse to fall and eat shit.
Jack mounted the tree sentinel and began to plunge his dagger downwards. The tree sentinel stopped his hands but Jack pushed further down.
"Mother," an ear piercing cry was heard.
Jack's head snapped to the church and the sentinel used that moment to punch Jack.
Jack flew off and hit his head against the church wall. His helmet protected him from any concussion but now his eyes were devoid of any mercy.
The next second Jack simply disappeared, and the next moment he was on the sentinel. Once he attacked he simply disappeared. No disappearing wasn't the right term. He vanished without any trace left behind.
The sentinel died not knowing what or how the tarnished knew such magic. His body turned into runes, but Jack already sprinted to the church.
"They took Anna," Mary cried. She and her sisters were worn out and looked like they were in a fight and lost one-sidedly.
Jack's anger merely flared, at the enemies and himself. He was distracted and that led to this situation.
"Where," his tone came out harsher than he meant it too.
Mary flinched at his tone and then began to cry. The other sisters soon joined her.
"Perhaps I may be of assistance," Melina appeared as she always did.
"Where," Jack said, grabbing her by the cloak.
"stormveil castle, you'll have to head that way and follow the path," Melina said calmly as she stared into the depth of jacks.
Jack released her before grabbing his gun from the floor and reloaded it.
"Where were you when they were getting kidnapped," Jack said through grit teeth.
"Finding a tarnished who's able to bring me to the foot of the erd tree. Since thee has declined, I had to focus on my own endeavors," she said.
Jack let out a sigh.
"Alright if you can get these children to a safe place, I'll get you to your destination. Ill accept your accord or whatever it was you called it," Jack said as he opened the church door.
Melina merely held the girls shoulders and they all seemed to disappear. Little did Jack know that the girls were currently getting consoled by roderika.
(How she got to the roundtable, who knows. But she did 🤷)
Jack sprinted faster than ever as he made his way to stormveil castle.
"Foul tarnished -," whatever that means was going to say was ignored as Jack ran past them.
There they were, his target.
"Close the gates," came the guards' panicked cry and he stayed behind.
Jack ran past him but the gate closed faster than he was prepared for.
"Bring me back my fucking daughter," came Jack angry shout to the guard who was carrying Anna.
The guard simply sprinted away with her. Jack let out a yell before jumping on the wall and scaled over the stormveil impenetrable walls.
"Delay him," came a frantic cry.
Man, beast, soldier or even birds tried to stop him. But anything that did was met with equal if not more force.
"Where is she," came jacks yell and for a second it seemed like stormveil itself held its breath.
Jack reached his final destination just before godrick and tackled the soldier and caught Anna before she hit the ground.
Jack laid her down carefully and walked over to the frightened soldiers. Jack pulled him to his feet and socked him clean across the face.
"Why did you do it," Jack growled.
"He- he," the soldier stuttered and the smell of urine was able to be smelled in the air.
"He ordered me to," the soldier yelled as he pointed to the opening.
Jack narrowed his eyes before plunging his knife into his neck. He was covered in blood. Humans or beasts he couldn't tell.
"Mother?" Came Anna's weak voice.
"I'm here," Jack said as he gently lifted her up.
Anna thankfully was fine, if not bruised a little. Jack carefully held her close... This wasn't going to happen again.
He let his guard down and now the girls had to pay for it.
"Are you mad mommy," Anna asked as tears threatened to leak out of her eyes, and Jack's anger practically vanished.
"No... No I'm not. You did a good job with putting up a fight. I'm proud of you Anna, truly" Jack said before walking back to the church.
It was a long quiet walk, and Anna fell asleep in his arms. Jack walked past the carnage that was stormveil castle. Not even a sound was heard, and blood painted the walls and everything near.
As Jack gently wiped her tears from her sleeping face, he could only sigh at how adorable she looked while sleeping.

Something was wrong... She felt it in the depths of her soul. Her body was withering in pain due to the rot, but she opened her singular eye only to find herself in a lake, which her rot had already consumed.
(Yes I know the scarlet rot took over her eyes and made her blind, but I have to give her an eye so she knows where she's going. Don't want her to accidentally fall off a cliff since she's blind)
She slowly got to her knees as her body crumpled due to her fight with radhan.
Somehow she felt something was missing... Like how she felt when her brother had gone missing. That there was a piece of her that was ripped away.
Find them... Find them... FIND HIM...
Malenia clenched her head as the voice of the outer god was heard in her head.... Excitement... Or something similar was evident in its tone.
But who was the "him" that the outer garden god was talking about.
