"Nathan King, this isn't exactly the way to treat a guest."

Jarrett struggled to stand, but the crushing gravity forced him down so hard that he could only manage to lift his head slightly.

"Guest? Nathan Island has no welcome for the likes of you. Take your soldiers and get out!"

Li Mumu's eyes flashed coldly as she shouted furiously at Jarrett.

Jarrett forced a strained, insincere smile.

"I recall Nathan Island's traditions — during a change of kingship, outsiders are allowed to set foot on the island. Thanks to that, the hostile environment surrounding this island was dispelled."

"The change of kingship is already over. I am the new king. Haven't you noticed?"

George looked down at the kneeling Jarrett with a mocking half-smile.

Jarrett was struck speechless for a moment, then quickly changed his tone:

"Respected Nathan King, you must be misunderstanding our intentions. We came here to bring you prosperity and civilization — all for your benefit. We'll help you manage this island better. You'll still remain the exalted Nathan King."

"Oh, you like spreading prosperity and civilization? Then let me give you plenty of chances to spread it."

George flicked his hand, releasing a transfiguration spell that pierced through Jarrett and the two gene-soldiers at his side. In an instant, all three were transformed into small white pigs.

Normally, a transfiguration spell would overwrite the target's consciousness with that of the animal. But George's modified spell left their original awareness intact even after transformation.

Thus, the three who were now white pigs clearly realized what had happened. Terrified, they immediately bolted toward the helicopter, thinking that once they returned, the company would surely find a way to undo this wicked magic.

"Send them to the pigsty. Let them spread their prosperity and civilization properly."

George crooked his finger, and the three pigs floated through the air, landing in the arms of several ordinary Nathan Guards. No matter how violently they thrashed, escape was impossible.

"My king, the palace doesn't raise white pigs. We only have some wild boars — and they're not exactly gentle. These three are in for a rough time."

Li Mumu watched gleefully, gloating at their misfortune.

George chuckled.

"That's fine. Since they love spreading prosperity and civilization so much, let them go spread it to those ill-tempered wild boars — and perhaps produce some offspring while they're at it."

The three pigs — Jarrett and his men — heard every word of George and Li Mumu's conversation. Their struggles grew even more frantic. But it was no use. In the end, they could only squeal miserably as the Nathan Guards dragged them away.

"What a foolish new king. So be it — at least it saves us from wasting more time," Ron sneered as he watched the scene unfold on the helicopter's monitor aboard Behemoth's warship. He picked up his communicator and ordered the troops who had landed to begin Phase One of the assault.

This offensive was divided into three phases.

Phase One: Use weaker or tranquilizer bullets to capture as many targets alive as possible.

Phase Two: For those who resisted fiercely or were too powerful to capture, use specialized high-powered rounds to kill them on the spot and recover their corpses.

Phase Three: Launch a full-scale assault on the palace and seize the Spirit Tree. Anyone standing in the way could be killed — the Spirit Tree was the absolute priority.

"Report: no islanders encountered, no ambushes discovered."

"Report: market district secured, all members taken under control."

"Report: amusement park sector reached."

"Report: heavy resistance in the amusement park! We need special reinforcements!"

Inside the command deck, Ron listened as reports poured in over the communicator. He swiftly adjusted battle plans and issued fresh orders.

"Send Hyena, Explosive Man, and the Hunting Squad to reinforce. Deploy ten armed helicopters as support. I want that Hanging Man captured alive, and Shawn rescued."

"Nathan's native islanders and guards haven't ambushed our forces. Could it be they've all retreated to the palace?" Gade analyzed the situation based on each unit's reports, a look of puzzlement on his face.

It was all going far too smoothly — unlike what they had expected.

"Likely this so-called new king has no brains. He must have gathered all the islanders and guards inside the palace, thinking to fight us in a final decisive battle," Ron remarked.

That didn't worry him at all. In fact, having them concentrated at the palace was to his advantage. It meant their hot weapons could unleash maximum effect, minimizing their own casualties.

Gade found no flaws in that reasoning. He nodded in agreement.

"Still, we must be careful not to damage the Spirit Tree during the assault."

"Relax. We won't use overly destructive weapons. And they fear damaging the Spirit Tree even more than we do. They'll make their stand at the palace entrance, far enough from the tree. That location is defensible, but also predictable.

Besides, don't forget — we have an insider."

Ron spread out the layout map of the palace, pointing at the entrance with absolute confidence.

The main reason he was given command of this operation was that he had spent a fortune to secure the loyalty of Elia, the Nathan Guard responsible for diplomacy.

It was Elia who had arranged for someone to break the Golden Branch, triggering the change of kingship — giving them this chance to attack en masse.

Every scrap of intelligence on Nathan Island — the guards' powers and weaknesses, the structure of the palace — had been provided by Elia.

And based on that information, they had prepared tailored countermeasures against each of the powerful Nathan Guards.

As long as no external forces intervened, this operation would have a 100% chance of success.

"True enough," Gade replied, his expression easing.

"Amusement park cleared. Hanging Man and all his people have been subdued and are being transported back. Shawn successfully rescued."

Roughly half an hour later, another good report came through, further relaxing Ron and Gade.

Hanging Man and his amusement park had been one of the trickier targets. With them dealt with according to plan, the rest would be easier.

"All units, change ammunition. Gather every force at the palace entrance!"

Ron issued the order, then turned to Gade with fire in his eyes.

"You handle things here. I'm heading to the palace entrance myself to command the final assault and seize the Spirit Tree!"

"Be careful," Gade warned, not objecting. Ron was both his friend and his business partner — their fates were bound together.

Meanwhile, as Nathan Island's armed forces converged from all directions on the palace, various hidden factions quietly slipped into the island. They blended in by ambushing small squads of gene-soldiers, stealing their uniforms, and using their own skills to avoid detection.

"Holy crap — isn't that Mr. Jin? How the hell did he become the Nathan King?"

Dressed in a Behemoth soldier's uniform, Zhang Chulan whispered in shock as he and Feng Baobao, along with other temporary hires, infiltrated among the troops.

Looking up, he saw George sitting proudly upon the throne — who even winked back at him. Zhang Chulan nearly jumped out of his skin.
