Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 Clash of Pride – Uchiha vs. Hyuga

Uchiha Hui wasn't familiar with this Hyuga, but from the way he stood next to Hayato, arms crossed and wearing an unmistakable look of superiority, Hui could already guess what was happening.

So, the guy from this morning couldn't let it go and called for backup. Annoying.

The older Hyuga stepped forward, his gaze cold. "You're the brat who messed with my little brother?" His voice was calm but carried an edge of irritation. "Hayato isn't someone you can just humiliate and walk away. Apologize now, and I might let it slide."

Hui tilted his head slightly, adjusting his grip on the practice shuriken in his pocket. "And you are?"

The Hyuga's expression hardened, the veins near his temples bulging as his Byakugan flared to life. "Hyuga Yufumi," he said, cracking his knuckles. "And I don't like punks who don't know their place."

Hayato, still standing behind him, chimed in with renewed confidence. "My brother is an actual Genin. He can use Gentle Fist techniques properly. You don't stand a chance!"

Yufumi smirked at the praise, his posture relaxed yet confident. "I'll give you one chance, Uchiha. Apologize, or we do this the hard way."

Hui exhaled slowly and slid a pair of sunglasses onto his face. "So I scare one Hyuga in the morning, and now another one is trying to pick a fight in the afternoon? You guys sure are persistent." He waved a hand lazily. "Just move. I don't have time for this."

Yufumi's smirk disappeared. His patience snapped. "Tch. Arrogant brat."

In a blur, he shifted into the Gentle Fist stance and lunged forward, his right palm striking with precision.

Hayato grinned from the sidelines. "Now you're in trouble!"

Behind the dark lenses, Hui's Sharingan spun to life.

To any ordinary student, Yufumi's speed would have been overwhelming. But to Hui, it was slow—predictable.

Without hesitation, Hui flicked the practice shuriken upward, not to attack, but to disrupt the strike's path.

Yufumi's instincts flared. He halted his attack at the last second, switching to a left-hand strike. "A feint? Pointless!"

But before his attack could land—

Poof!

A burst of white smoke exploded where Hui had been standing.

"Crack!"

Yufumi's palm slammed into a rooftop tile instead, shattering it into pieces.

Hayato's eyes widened. "A Substitution Jutsu?!"

Above them, Hui reappeared on a nearby rooftop, adjusting his sunglasses as if nothing had happened.

"There he is!" Hayato yelled. "Brother, don't let him get away!"

Yufumi had already locked onto him. His Byakugan sharpened as he leapt onto the roof. "You're not escaping."

With a powerful push, he launched himself forward, fingers forming a precise strike aimed at Hui's chest. "Gentle Fist—Pressure Point Strike!"

Hui bent his knees slightly, dodging the attack with ease. As he moved, his hands flashed through hand signs. "That's your big move? I was expecting something more... dangerous."

Yufumi caught the practice shuriken Hui had thrown earlier between two fingers, scoffing. "This is supposed to impress me?"

Then—his strike landed.

Or at least, it should have.

Instead, a sharp crack echoed in the air.

Yufumi's confident smirk faltered. His fingers trembled. His Byakugan pulsed as he stared in disbelief.

"What… What is this!?"
